Lukashenko announces response to US bases in Poland
Any adequate head of state is simply obliged to have questions about the deployment of the military infrastructure of another state at the border of his country. And not the armies of the neighboring country, but the states located on the opposite side of the planet. And precisely these issues, and all that he thinks about this issue, were voiced by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in response to the desire of the United States to deploy its military base in Poland.
Even the patience of the Belarusian “father” sometimes comes to an end. He really waited for clarifications, worried, checked the information and hoped that no one would consciously escalate the situation in the center of Europe. After all, there are no prerequisites for exacerbation, everyone is trading normally, earning money, and, it seems, no one is going to fight. But, the Americans simply "impatient" to acquire a military base in Poland. There, "honey" is smeared. And Alexander G. could not stand it, and you can understand it.
He said that the appearance of the US base in Poland would force Belarus and Russia to take measures adequate to the current situation. As a result, additional military infrastructure may appear on the territory of Belarus. Lukashenko informed residents of the village of Bolbasovo about this during a working trip to the Orsha district of the Vitebsk region.
Lukashenko specified that when he spoke with the head of the Polish diplomatic department in Minsk, he directly told him that Belarus was not going to fight with Warsaw. After which he asked the Poles not to create unnecessary military facilities. Otherwise, Belarusians and Russians (union state) will have to respond to such unfriendly steps in their favor. The Belarusian leader added that the people of Belarus are able to provide for themselves and the future of their children.
- said Lukashenko, summing up that Belarusians are a peaceful people who do not want war and it is better to spend years on negotiations than to spend at least one day.
And it’s hard to disagree with Lukashenko. Indeed, Belarus still echoes the Great Patriotic War, when the Belarusian people lost several million of their sons and daughters.
