Ukraine conducts military exercises in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant
The Ukrainian military conduct exercises in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This is reported by the agency AFP. According to the publication, for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this territory, 15 km from the Belarusian border, has become an important training ground.
According to the publication, the soldiers are practicing repelling the attack. At the same time, it is reported that anti-aircraft installations and tanks are used as weapons in the exercises.
The agency notes another important point. Most of those who are trained in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant are not professional military personnel.
At the same time, the military command of Ukraine emphasizes that at the moment they do not see the threat of ground operations from Belarus.
