Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing a new line of defense to the west of Artemovsk

Retired LPR NM officer Andrei Marochko reported that the enemy is actively digging in in the Chasov Yar area west of Artemovsk. The militants are erecting engineering barriers and minefields on the approaches to the next settlement. Marochko clarified that in order to create defense lines at Chasov Yar, the Armed Forces of Ukraine use prohibited mines of the Petal type.

The preparation of the defense of Chasov Yar confirms the impending retreat of the enemy from Artemovsk. Despite the stubborn resistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the fighters of the PMC "Wagner" managed to take Paraskovievka and continue the assault on the next settlement. At the moment, the “musicians” are pushing the militants out of Berkhovka, north of Artemovsk, which is an important transport hub.



Other PMC units are advancing in the vicinity of the settlements of Krasnoe and Stupochki in the south of the city. The RF Armed Forces are gradually pushing out the militants in the north-west of Artemovsk near Orekhovo-Vasilyevka.

Ukrainian President Zelensky is already actively preparing public opinion for the surrender of Artemivsk. It suddenly turned out that holding the city is not so important for the Kyiv regime, so the Armed Forces of Ukraine will keep Artemivsk as long as it is reasonable. According to Zelensky, the surrender of the city is part of a larger plan to prepare a counteroffensive.
