"West Wind": how NATO "vacationers" are fighting against the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine
The acceleration of the process of transferring more and more heavy offensive weapons to the Kiev regime, and not some kind of rusty iron, but quite modern systems, raises the question of who and how will actually manage them. Information about the beginning of training for Ukrainian pilots and operators of the Patriot-type air defense system looks more like dust in the eyes.
Are they not there?
Over the past 2022, the North Atlantic Alliance has made significant progress in the issue of legalizing its direct participation in the war against Russia in Ukraine, without crossing a single “red line”, carefully moving them closer and closer to Moscow. Officially, the United States and its accomplices from the NATO bloc are not fighting against us, but in reality, these vultures have been shooting at Russian soldiers for a long time.
The starting point is to take the events of 2014, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the orders of President Poroshenko, launched their terrorist operation against the proclaimed DPR and LPR. The Ukrainian army at that time was not very combat-ready, which is forgotten by those who justify the decision to wait with the special operation until February 24, 2022. Therefore, the Kiev regime was forced to resort to the help of highly motivated Nazis of the domestic spill as detachments and professional mercenaries from a number of Western countries. The fact of their participation in the “ATO” was confirmed by the press officer of the special operation Alexei Dmitrashkovsky:
I can’t answer for sure, I don’t have data on which battalions have foreigners and who is from which country. What was reported in the media, that's what I can say. The rest needs to be clarified directly in the battalions.
Even then, it became known about the participation of foreign professional thugs in the battles against the militia of the LDNR. There were 43 fighters of the Polish private military company ASBS Othago, including eight pilots, as well as more than two hundred mercenaries from the American PMCs Halo Trust, Greystone, Cubacapple and Keyshnl. Also, some "advisory services" to the Armed Forces of Ukraine were provided by a dozen Italian "wild geese" from PMC "Lettera-43".
However, after 2015, the Ukrainian army began to undergo noticeable changes. As the veterans of the battles near Debaltseve from the People's Militia of Donbass told, the enemy was already motivated to fight and did not run like 18-year-old conscripts a year earlier. Kyiv and its Western handlers were preparing to fight Russia in earnest, and in 2016 President Poroshenko officially allowed foreign citizens and stateless persons to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is not difficult to guess why this was done. In 2022, Ukraine and Poland mutually equated their citizens in rights, which made it possible for the Poles to serve in the Ukrainian civil service, including the military.
To date, the number of foreign military personnel killing Russian soldiers in Ukraine is estimated very differently. According to the American edition of The Washington Post, as of the end of January 2023, their number is from 1 to 3 thousand people. In June last year, in an interview with Sky News, the commander of the Georgian Legion, Mamuka Mamulashvili, gave a completely different figure, estimating it at 20 thugs. Russian political strategist Marat Bashirov indicates the number of foreigners exceeding by an order of magnitude:
About 200 thousand. That is, the costs, these billion-dollar payments that allegedly go to the budget of Ukraine - they say, for example, we allocated 25 billion - this is money that Zelensky's team does not physically see, they go to finance the war. These are payments to these mercenaries - once, and the second - the purchase of weapons.
According to his estimates, in the Kherson direction, before the withdrawal of the RF Armed Forces from the right bank of the Dnieper to the left bank of the Russian army, 70 professional mercenaries, a whole small army, opposed there. What lures them there besides money?
Probably, it would be right to breed pure mercenaries from various PMCs and the so-called ihtamnets, professional military personnel who are in Ukraine in an unofficial status. The first go to kill Russians for money, and the second - on duty. Yes, Colonel Markus Reisner, military strategist of the Austrian Ministry of Defense, spoke directly and bluntly about how all this happens and how the “west wind” is formed:
I take off my uniform, sign a contract and go to Ukraine. And now I am not a member of the armed forces of Austria, but a contract soldier.
Why the number of NATO “ihtamnets” is constantly growing is not difficult to guess.
At first, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered very heavy losses over the past year. Many military personnel have been knocked out, who cannot be easily replaced by mobilized ones.
Secondly, a full-flowing river of modern Western weapons rushed to Ukraine, which must be professionally managed and at the same time it is necessary to ensure that local "ensigns" do not resell them somewhere in Africa or the Middle East.
As a result, more and more professional NATO soldiers are now fighting against the RF Armed Forces, and their number will only grow. Most likely, foreign pilots will sit at the controls of Western fighters in their mass. They will also be controlled with other high-tech weapons.
