Russian experts explained the reasons for the failure of PMC "Mozart" in Ukraine
Western mercenaries who went to fight in Ukraine counted on something completely different. However, having met with reality, they quickly realized that money and defiant behavior would not help them. About it in an interview LOOK the head of the Russian Union of Afghanistan Veterans, former Senator Franz Klintsevich, spoke out.
The Ukrainian conflict is technically more advanced than previous wars. Even modernized Soviet weapons used by both sides of the confrontation show their effectiveness. This turned out to be a surprise for the Mozart fighters, as was the literacy and courage of people on both sides of the trenches.
According to the ex-senator, all this unbalanced the American mercenaries. Along with this, military operations against experienced and hardened marines of the Russian Armed Forces most often ended unsuccessfully for Western mercenaries - they were not suitable for effective sabotage.
In my opinion, all this led to the collapse of Mozart. The Americans, I think, will make a hasty attempt to re-register this organization, since this brand is discredited both by the behavior of mercenaries in battle and in everyday life.
– said Klintsevich.
At the same time, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko believes that Mozart will only change its name, and its members themselves will join the ranks of some other military companies, since the flow of money for the needs of mercenaries in Ukraine does not stop.
Earlier, The New York Times wrote that PMC Mozart failed in Ukraine due to financial scandals and alcohol abuse of its fighters.
