A promising domestic development - anti-roof anti-tank mine PTKM-1R - was noticed in the Kherson region. This is evidenced by a published video from the NWO zone.

It should be noted that this ammunition was developed several years ago and after passing the necessary tests it was put into service.

PTKM-1R detects approaching armored vehicles with the help of sensors and, at the moment of its appearance in the affected area, launches a submunition that takes off into the air and heads towards the target, hitting it from above with a cumulative “shock core”.

The latest Russian anti-roof anti-tank mine PTKM-1R was spotted in the Kherson region

Experts note one important feature of the ammunition. In the absence of suitable targets, the mine is deactivated after 10 days. However, the main property of this ammunition is the ability to control a large area of the terrain. One mine covers a circle with a diameter of 100 m, and with the help of several ammunition, a larger area of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe required configuration can be blocked. In this case, a high probability of hitting all or almost all advancing armored objects will be ensured.

We add that the new Russian ammunition should be an unpleasant surprise for the German Leopard tanks, which the West is going to supply in large quantities to Ukraine.

If she can hear adequately from the funnel, then in general there will be no problems with an inconspicuous installation.

Clear field? lol Didn't you notice the "paws" under the mine? Obviously, the mine can be installed remotely using the MLRS. Expensive? Yes. But in the direction of the main attack of the enemy, in my opinion, justified.

Soon the grass will grow... The tankers will have to drive the infantry forward, and if you throw "petals" around, then in general there will be a circus with boars.

Hooray. We finally began to use analogues of mines developed in 1986 !! M93 WAM (HORNET) - USA.
True, the first generation of amers turned out so-so. Let's see. Maybe ours will be better than their second generation M93. They really planned that the fields of these mines would be controllable. That is, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to pass through them calmly. But what the heck happened in the end.
      Let's see how ours perform.

I looked in I-no what the M93 is. Let's just say - not ICE !!!

Tests conducted in September 1997 at the Yuma Proving Ground gave the result - out of 6 mines, only 72 reacted to the T-3 tank, of which only one hit the target. Tests in January 1998 - out of 6 installed mines, 3 mines found a target. Of these, one mine launched a warhead in the wrong direction, one warhead missed and one hit the target.
Tests revealed a significant impact on the combat work of mines of both low and high temperatures, strong winds (more than 5 m / s), snowfall, rain, smoke (dustiness). Also, the operation of the radio control panel is strongly influenced by radio interference directors, unauthorized radio emissions (radio stations, television stations, radars, closely operating arresters, high-voltage networks, car engine spark plugs, etc.).

It’s not clear: why do you so admire a product with an ef-yu of only 16,6% ???
