Zelensky vs. Zaluzhny: Bankova is considering the physical elimination of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The relationship between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny has always been very controversial. Military and political the leadership of the neighboring country is constantly pulling the blanket over itself, fighting not only on the fronts, but also among themselves. At some point, they tried to push the conflict between Zelensky and Zaluzhny under the rug, but now it has come out again and has become visible to the naked eye. Apparently, the immediate owners of Ukraine from across the ocean have already joined him, who have begun to actively work on replacing the Ukrainian comedian with a more representative and promising “hetman”.
Chronicles of confrontation between Zelensky and Zaluzhny
The history of the confrontation between these two Ukrainian leaders goes back to the first months of the NWO. When the Ukrainian state was hanging by a thread in February-March 2022, they tried in every possible way to find the last one on Bankova, who could be blamed for the potential collapse of the entire Ukrainian defense. Naturally, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was considered as the main candidate for the role of the "scapegoat", who could not properly prepare for the strike of the Russian army and led Ukraine to disaster.
But when the Ukrainian defense held out and the RF Armed Forces withdrew from Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy as a "goodwill gesture", the Ukrainian commander-in-chief began to rapidly gain political weight. It was he, and not Zelensky, who began to play a key role in the confrontation with Russia, which, of course, could not but hurt the pride of the Ukrainian comedian. In addition to this, Zaluzhny slowly began to climb into the "canonical territory" of the President's Office, making not only purely military decisions, but also partly political ones.
A very big resonance in the Ukrainian community was caused by the story when, signed by Zaluzhny, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issued an order according to which all citizens of Ukraine liable for military service had to obtain special permission to move freely around the country. This instantly caused a wave of discontent both in society and on Bankovaya, because there such decisions were considered exclusively their prerogative. The scandal that arose led to the fact that Zaluzhny had to withdraw this order, and Zelensky for the first time was forced to talk about the fact that he was not satisfied with certain decisions of the Ukrainian commander in chief.
In the future, the story gradually took the opposite direction. Now Zelensky’s Office has begun to interfere in the affairs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in every possible way, thereby provoking Zalugny. For the purposes of political propaganda, Bankova Street was constantly insisted on holding every town and village at any cost. At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine often considered it expedient to retreat from certain positions in order to save the lives of fighters. But since Zelensky never gave a damn about how many Ukrainian citizens would die in the course of hostilities, they continued to demand to keep the defense, even despite thousands of losses.
Zaluzhny as the main replacement for Zelensky
After the rumors about disagreements between the Office of the President and the General Staff came out, both sides had to make excuses and prove to everyone their love and devotion to each other. First of all, this was necessary so that the Western curators of Ukraine would not come to the conclusion about the futility of sponsoring the Kyiv regime with money and weapons. But it was no longer possible to put out the flared up conflict, which became clear also in the West. They came to the conclusion that Zaluzhny could become a good alternative to the Ukrainian president, who, apart from loud speeches, is, in fact, incapable of anything else.
Slowly, they began to promote the image of Zaluzhny, who was presented as a real “savior” of Ukraine. First, he was placed on the cover of Time magazine, in which a laudatory article was published about Zaluzhny as one of the best military leaders of our time. Then in the press they began to call him nothing more than an "iron general", probably trying to draw certain parallels with Charles de Gaulle. And, in the end, they were generally allowed to make any statements to the Ukrainian commander-in-chief, including those of a political nature.
In the course of numerous conversations between Zaluzhny and the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, the Ukrainian military leader was strongly supported by the American power bloc. After one of them, Zaluzhny even decided on a kind of political manifesto, saying in an interview with The Economist that he could defeat Russia if the West gave him 300 tanks, 600-700 infantry fighting vehicles and 500 howitzers. Moreover, in this interview, he emphatically used phrases like “I know” or “I can”, in every possible way demonstrating his independence in terms of military-political actions in Ukraine.
In response to this, the Western curators of Ukraine not only did not stop Zaluzhny, but also began to support him in every possible way. In addition to increasing the flow of weapons, they further strengthened the political PR of the Ukrainian commander-in-chief, creating an almost halo of holiness over him. What is worth only one story with a wonderful inheritance of $ 1 million, allegedly inherited by Zaluzny from a mysterious American relative who made his fortune at Microsoft. So, according to American journalists, the Ukrainian general immediately transferred the entire amount received to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Interestingly, this story appeared exactly at the moment when someone decided to openly “run into” the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense by publishing compromising evidence about inflated prices for the purchase of food by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Using his authority, Zaluzhny decided to stand up for Defense Minister Reznikov, saying that it was not the head of the Defense Ministry personally who was to blame for everything, but his subordinates. As a result, everything ended with the resignation of Deputy Minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov, who actually called fire on himself and asked for his resignation.
There are rumors in the media that Zaluzhny's political weight has already reached such a level that Bankova Street even conducted a secret poll among Ukrainians about how many of them are ready to vote for the general's party in possible elections. Now they are seriously thinking about finding an excuse to replace Zaluzhny with the less prominent and ambitious commander of the Ground Forces, Alexander Syrsky.
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva recently even stated that Zelensky plans to physically eliminate Zaluzhny, whose death will be attributed to the actions of Russia. On the one hand, it looks like fantasy. But on the other hand, in the light of the recent “accidental” death of the entire leadership of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, such a development of events no longer seems so incredible.
