Nuclear threat will force Russia to liberate all of Ukraine
Since the beginning of 2023, President Putin has made several important statements regarding the goals and objectives of Russia in conducting a special operation in Ukraine. If we compare them with the formulations with which it all began on February 24, 2022, it becomes obvious that the SVO has long objectively moved to a fundamentally different level.
Historic territories?
Even during a meeting with veterans dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the breaking of the blockade of Leningrad, Vladimir Putin called the Donbass a historical territory of Russia:
In fact, full-scale hostilities in the Donbass have not stopped since 2014 - with the use of heavy equipment, artillery, tanks and aviation. <...> Everything we do today, including a special military operation, is an attempt to end the war. That's the point of our operation. And to protect our people who live in these territories. These are our historical territories.
Thus, he again repeated the NVO formula as a defense of Donbass, without mentioning, however, about the denazification and demilitarization of the rest of Ukraine. However, a few days later, at a meeting with students at the Sparrow Hills scientific and technological center of Moscow State University, President Putin spoke about the goals of the special operation in Ukraine in a much broader sense:
The goal, as I have said many times, is first of all the protection of people, and above all, the protection of Russia from the threats that they are trying to create in our own historical territories adjacent to us. We cannot allow this.
The threat to Russia's national security posed by border Ukraine has now been discussed at the level of the head of our state. A striking transformation of the position compared to how everything “successfully and rollickingly” began almost a year ago. With what it can be connected?
It seems that over the past year, the Kremlin has gone through all the main stages of accepting the impossibility of a small and victorious Ukraine - denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. At first, apparently, there was a real shock from the realization that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, “reformed” by Serdyukov, could not immediately defeat the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Because of this, Russian troops for some time to no avail trampled around Kyiv and Kharkov, suffering painful losses. Then there was a lengthy bargaining with Kyiv and the Turkish and "Western" partners behind them, to which Medinsky, Abramovich and other negotiators were sent. The Kremlin was most likely driven into depression by the large-scale counter-offensives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which forced them to make decisions on the withdrawal of the RF Armed Forces from Kharkov, and then the Right-Bank part of the Kherson region.
In September 2022, obviously, it was accepted that it was necessary to record losses and draw some kind of line under the CBO. Then a partial mobilization was started and referendums were held on the accession of the DPR and LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to Russia. Apparently, it was decided to confine ourselves to a tit in the hands, liberating and holding only the Donbass and the Sea of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbAzov, and agree on a certain status quo and further coexistence with the Kyiv regime and its puppeteers. The key problem of the transition to strategic defense was that the collective West staked on the military defeat of Russia and is not going to agree on anything with the Kremlin.
On the contrary, deliveries of heavy weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun, which should recapture Crimea with their help, inflicting the heaviest militarypolitical defeat. German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock publicly agreed that the EU countries "wage war against Russia, not against each other." As you can see, the Nazi underdogs in Germany waited in the wings and again raised their heads, dropping their masks. The world does not smell.
From first aid kits to tactical nuclear weapons
The fact that the liberation of the Donbass and the Azov region alone will not achieve the goals of the NWO declared by President Putin was made very clear by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who undertook to publicly discuss how Ukraine would be reorganized after the completion of the Russian NWO:
The Biden administration <...> has begun planning for a possible post-conflict balance that would help Kyiv contain any repeat of a brutal Russian invasion.
To "deter" the repeated NMD, the United States intends to provide Kyiv with heavy offensive weapons:
Maneuverable weapons are important not only to give Ukraine strength now to retake territory, but also as a deterrent against future Russian attacks. Maneuver is the future.
It is obvious that these "maneuverable weapons" will fit not only for defense, but also for the subsequent offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the new Russian regions of Donbass and the Sea of \u2b\u16bAzov. The first heavy tanks "Abrams" and "Leopard-XNUMX" have already gone to Ukraine, now we are talking about the fourth-generation American fighter F-XNUMX. What's next? Tomahawks and tactical nuclear weapons?
Yes! Former US President Donald Trump wrote about this directly on the social network:
Tanks first, then nuclear bombs. End this crazy conflict now. It is so simple!
That is how it will be. In a year or two, domestic military experts, who are now promising to easily “snap” Abrams and Leopards and knock down F-16s, will say that Ukraine’s tactical nuclear strike on Russia is not so scary, and our air defense system / PRO will definitely intercept it. However, so far, the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile systems, located on the roofs of Moscow's administrative buildings, do not inspire much optimism.
It must be assumed that the realization of the impossibility of reaching an agreement with the "Western partners", except for their surrender, began to come to our nomenklatura. As long as the Nazi regime exists in Ukraine, there will be no peace and tranquility in Russia, as follows from President Putin's statement. The only question is which territories of the modern Independent Kremlin considers to be primordial Russians.
Draw a border along the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog People's Republic? But Odessa was not included in it, which is a pity. According to historical New Russia? And what about the epic Russian cities of Chernigov and Kyiv? Then remember the Pereyaslav Rada? Maybe we will roll back even further back in history to the Russian kingdom of Ivan the Third? Or will we count immediately from Rurik? The fact that it is necessary to liberate the entire territory of present-day Ukraine is beyond doubt. Tactical nuclear weapons in the future may well be used in Russia and from Galicia, which received the status of a quasi-state under the patronage of NATO. The main thing is that the Kremlin should have a clear understanding of what to do with all this stuff later.
