Explosions are reported in Kyiv, Ochakov, Kharkov and Zaporozhye
On January 14, Russian forces launched another series of missile strikes on the military and critical infrastructure of Ukraine during the JMD. Numerous air raid sirens sounded throughout the country at night and in the morning, Ukrainian functionaries, near-military publics and eyewitnesses reported explosions and arrivals in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, Ochakov (Nikolaev region), Kharkov, Zaporozhye, in other cities and localities.
The head of the Kyiv OVA Oleksiy Kuleba informed the public on his Telegram channel that around 06:00 local time, the sounds of explosions were heard in the region. After that, a fire broke out at one of the critical infrastructure facilities. Relevant services were sent to fight the fire and eliminate the consequences, there were no casualties.
Arrivals in the city of Zaporozhye were also recorded. Eyewitnesses released CCTV footage showing these moments.
In Ochakovo, where they had previously tried to create a NATO base, it was also restless. One of the witnesses documented what happened.
In addition, the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov spoke about the explosions in Kharkov. He asked the citizens to stay in shelters. At the same time, local residents signaled serious power outages and a shutdown of the metro. In turn, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov clarified that the industrial district of the city was fired with S-300 missiles. The goal was infrastructure, data on damage and casualties are being specified.
