The Turkish research center Gezici published the results of a study of public opinion, according to which more than 90% of the country's population considers the United States a hostile state.

According to the president of the research center Murat Gezici, now there is a picture when Turkish society is increasingly moving away from the West. But the attitude towards Russia in an Islamic country is just the opposite.



Studies show that the proportion of Turkish residents who consider Russia a friend is 62,6%. Almost 70% of the polled residents of the country are sure that Russia supports the Turkish the economy.

Note that the results of the public opinion poll can hardly be called unexpected. And although recently relations between Russia and Turkey can hardly be called cloudless, the Russian Federation remains one of the main partners of Recep Erdogan, even despite the fact that Turkey is a member of NATO.

It is from the Russian Federation that Turkey receives cheap energy resources that support the country's economy, which is in a difficult situation. In the near future, thanks to the construction of a gas hub, Turkey may become the main transit country for Russian blue fuel to Europe.
