Massive missile strike inflicted on Ukraine

At this moment, the Russian Long-Range Aviation and the Black Sea Fleet are launching another missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. Eyewitnesses report dozens of cruise missiles in the Ukrainian sky.

A series of explosions is heard in a number of regions of the country, including Lvov, Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr and Kyiv. In the Ukrainian capital itself, residents have already counted 10 blows. Energy infrastructure facilities are also affected. There is also information that during the attack on Kyiv, an object where Western military advisers lived was hit.

Meanwhile, residents of Astrakhan are sharing footage of contrails following a mass launch of cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea region.

In response to the missile attack of the Russian Aerospace Forces, the Ukrainian military launched unmanned aerial vehicles towards the Crimea. All enemy targets were intercepted by air defense forces near Dzhankoy.

As Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev stated in his New Year's address, the goal of the SVO remains "to put an end to the criminal Nazi regime in Kyiv."
