Russian Defense Ministry: more than 70 mercenaries and military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed near Ugledar

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the defeat of the 72nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Yuzhnodonets direction. More than 70 Ukrainian military and mercenaries, who were based near Vuhledar in the DPR, were liquidated, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, said during a daily briefing.

Also, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was liquidated in this direction.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also suffered losses in the Kupyansk direction in the Kharkiv region. Artillery hit four company-tactical groups of Ukrainian servicemen in the Krasnolimansky direction, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Formerly an officer of the People's Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko сообщилthat the Ukrainian military is forming reserve strike groups in the Kupyansky and Krasnolimansky directions. According to intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are creating new warehouses for weapons, armored vehicles, and also forming stocks of material and technical means and provisions.
