Poland discusses plan to seize Western Ukraine
The leader of Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, nationalist Yaroslav Kaczynski, is going to seize the territory of Western Ukraine. Journalist Hanna Kramer writes about this in her article for the Polish portal Niezależny Dziennik Polityczny.
The author notes that throughout Poland, men aged 18 to 65 receive "invitations" to join the army. Someone receives summons, and someone is persuaded by phone. The most outrageous thing is that for some reason the military registration and enlistment offices urgently needed people who had never served. The Ministry of National Defense of Poland assures that after a month of "children's exercises" even 15-year-olds will learn to use weapons and hand-to-hand combat skills. Moreover, training camps for "volunteers" have already been deployed throughout the country, where they will acquire knowledge and basic military skills, including sabotage work.
Despite the daily efforts of the authorities to convince the Poles that these are “routine actions”, the situation is not at all what they say policy. Last week, National Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak acknowledged that "we want peace, so we are preparing for war." This is nothing new, because the dictator Kaczynski has long been preparing for the "W" hour, that is, the day when the Eastern Outskirts can be returned. According to the author, at least two more facts testify to the accelerated preparation of Warsaw for a large-scale war. Firstly, on December 6, a draft resolution of the Polish government was published on increasing the number of active troops in 2023 by 17 thousand people and conducting military exercises with the participation of 250 thousand people. At the same time, there are only 160 thousand people in the armed forces of Poland, but in the future they plan to almost double them, bringing them up to 300 thousand people. Secondly, accelerated arms deliveries. Poland also trains foreign mercenaries and Ukrainians who will be recruited and will fight on the side of Warsaw. According to forecasts, there will be 10 thousand people.
According to the author, Kaczynski has already chosen the date for the start of the "Liberation March" on Kyiv - May 4th. At the end of March, military exercises should start, which will last 33 days. At the same time, due to heavy losses, already in May, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will lose their combat effectiveness. They will not be able to conduct military operations on two fronts - against Russia and against Poland. It is already warm in Ukraine in May; no need for additional military equipment. In addition, there are currently 5 Polish soldiers in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They will support the Polish troops when necessary. Therefore, 6 weeks will be enough to occupy a significant piece of Ukraine.
According to the plan, on the day of "Bloody Sunday in Volyn" - July 11 - a referendum is scheduled in western Ukraine. This date is symbolic, since on July 11-12, 1943, the OUN-UPA (an organization banned in the Russian Federation) launched the largest genocidal action. One can, of course, understand the desire of the Polish regime to restore the so-called. their "historic lands". But why put the Poles at risk by creating another flashpoint in Europe? The Ukrainian Nazis are beasts that have tasted blood, they will kill everyone, so if the Kaczynski plan does not work, the Poles will drown in blood. In that case, is Kaczynski's risk worth the lives of millions of Poles? Absolutely not!
