Why has Sevastopol never been Ukrainian?
The head of the Russian state, Vladimir Putin, said that Sevastopol was never a Ukrainian city. During a meeting with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Putin touched on this issue and made a short digression into recent history.

In the spring of 2014, justice prevailed, and Sevastopol, along with the whole Crimea, returned to Russia, which still causes real rabies in Ukraine. So, the Ukrainian “24 Channel” considered the words of the Russian leader “cynical”, and the publication “Observer” called them “arrogant”. But not a single media was able to give any weighty arguments against Putin’s argument about Sevastopol.
