Sanctions against: Exxon Mobil considers new projects in Russia

1
Russian oil and gas producers, despite the risk of falling under Washington’s sanctions, continue to expand cooperation with American companies.

The Bloomberg Agency, citing informed sources in Russia, announced the start of negotiations with Exxon Mobil, during which issues related to joint projects of the American oil and gas giant and Russian Rosneft will be resolved.

It is reported that the Russian side has prepared several options for Exxon Mobil in sectors that are not subject to US restrictive measures - gas, refining and petrochemicals.

If during consultations an American company accepts any of the proposed options, then contracts can be concluded as soon as possible - before the end of this year. Company representatives declined to comment.

To date, Exxon Mobil has only one active project in Russia. This is the Sakhalin-1 project, which the American company has been developing for more than ten years. The Americans are part of the project along with Indian ONGC, Russian Rosneft and Japanese SODECO.

Recall that Washington is currently developing several options for sanctions against Russia, and Kurt Walker, speaking in the Atlantic Council, said that the United States will introduce new sanctions almost every month.

    - Sweep this Exxon Mobil with a filthy broom not only from the Sakhalin-1 project (which for more than ten years has simply really slowed down all projects on Sakhalin), but also from all the others that exist today (no sense from Russia ... ...- one harm ...) ..., together with the Indian ONGC (also., damn it ...- Russia found "partners" .., Lord ... forgive ...) ... -similarly as and all the Chinese "similar partners" in this matter ... -But with the Japanese, Russia really should closely "tie up relations" ... -and not only in the "oil field" ... -Japan today is in a great stagnation ... -and will become a real partner in all spheres (as far as possible) ... -Yes, such a partnership for China too ... -will also reduce arrogance at once ... -will immediately begin to bite his "elbows" and think in the future ... Is it "their own terms" to dictate to Russia and so it is "arrogantly selective" to behave in relation to Russia ... -And the Japanese are really interested in economic cooperation with Russia ... -in many areas ...
