Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation: Russian troops repelled the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the LPR and Kherson

The Ukrainian army does not stop trying to conduct offensive operations in some sectors of the front, despite heavy losses and repeated harsh rebuffs from the units of the RF Armed Forces. This was announced on the afternoon of November 5 by the Russian Ministry of Defense in its summary for the previous day, giving details of the operational situation.

So, according to the department, in the Kupyansky direction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the forces of one BTG tried to attack the defensive positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the direction of the village of Kuzemovka, which is located in the Svatovsky district of the LPR. As a result of the fire impact of artillery and air strikes of the RF Armed Forces, about 140 military personnel, 3 tanks, 2 infantry fighting vehicles, 3 armored vehicles and 5 vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were neutralized. Thus, the attack was repelled.

At the same time, attacks by several company tactical groups of the enemy in the direction of the village of Ploshchanka of the Krasnorechensky possovet and the city of Kremennaya in the LPR were thwarted in the Krasnolimansky direction. The Russian troops, with their active actions, defeated the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which lost 60 servicemen, 1 tank, 2 armored combat vehicles, 3 pickup trucks and 1 car.



In the Donetsk direction, assault units of the RF Armed Forces destroyed 120 servicemen, 2 armored personnel carriers, 2 armored combat vehicles, 1 pickup truck and 2 vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Novomikhailovka, Pavlovka and Vremovka settlements in the DPR.

In turn, in the Nikolaev-Kryvyi Rih direction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a pair of motorized infantry companies reinforced with tanks attacked the borders of the RF Armed Forces in the direction of the settlements of Sablukovka and Sukhanovo in the Beryslav district in the Kherson region. All enemy attempts to break through to Kherson were thwarted by the skillful actions of the Russian troops, as a result of which over 80 military personnel, 3 armored combat vehicles and 4 vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

In addition, aviation, artillery and missile forces were hit: 5 command posts of units and formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 179 places of concentration of enemy forces and means, as well as 87 artillery units. In the area of ​​Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, the SBU command post was hit, and near the village of Volnyansk in the Zaporozhye region, the base of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit. Also, 6 RAV warehouses were destroyed in the DPR, Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Near the village of Belogorka in the Donbass, the Buk-M1 air defense system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed, and near the village of Novonikolaevka in the Kherson region, the enemy’s S-300 air defense radar was destroyed.

Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces near the village of Velikoaleksandrovka in the Nikolaev region shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter, and an air defense system near the city of Vugledar in the DPR shot down a Mi-8 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, 9 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 27 rockets to launchers M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS were intercepted in the air over the Kherson region and the DPR.
