Ukrainian general was defeated near Kherson

Another attempt to attack Kherson last Saturday ended in complete failure. On October 29, the 28th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, under the leadership of the Deputy Commander of the Vostok Group of Forces of Ukraine, General Volodymyr Shvorak, attempted a quick attack on Kherson.

A large number of enemy manpower and tanks were thrown into it, but the APU again did not succeed in a quick and easy "overcome".



In an attempt to break through near the village of Bruskinskoye, three tank companies were involved, equipped with T-72s transferred to Ukraine by Macedonia in August of this year. The offensive was hastily prepared in anticipation of new negotiations between Ukraine and the West on the supply of new weapons.

However, the units of General Shvorak were defeated and were driven back to their original positions, losing at least 4 tanks, as well as a large number of soldiers killed and captured.

Despite serious losses in manpower, the Ukrainian authorities do not abandon attempts to break through to Kherson. The Kyiv authorities desperately need success on the eve of the elections to the US Congress, so now a new shock fist is being formed in the Kherson direction.

At the same time, Zelensky is forced to replenish the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with untrained mobilized soldiers, since foreign mercenaries are increasingly refusing to attack in tense sectors of the front.
