Its power is 856 hp, the torque of 1000 Nm is electronically limited, and the working volume is 6,6 liters. It is this engine that the Russian President’s limousine is equipped with.
And now TsIAM and the Ministry of Industry and Trade decided to start work under the name “Adaptation”. They want to study the issue of converting an engine from automobile to aviation. After which a demonstrator will appear Technology.
Designers are concerned about the issue. What needs to be done with a car engine so that the plane can fly into the air?
And this is really interesting, since the price of a serial engine for cars is relatively low compared to aviation. And the small aviation market looks really very promising.
