Russian Aerospace Forces hit two Ukrainian MiG-29s using American missiles

In the process of conducting a special operation on Ukrainian territory, Russian troops continue to inflict sensitive blows on the enemy. This was announced on September 25 by the Russian Ministry of Defense in its operational summary for the previous day.

According to the report, the Russian Aerospace Forces hit two Ukrainian MiG-29 fighters using American HARM anti-radar missiles. Aircraft of the Air Force of Ukraine were shot down near the village of Novoukrainka and the city of Bashtanka in the Mykolaiv region. At the same time, in the area of ​​​​the cities of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region and Svatovo in the LPR, air defense systems intercepted the three mentioned HARM-type aircraft munitions that were trying to hit Russian radars. Also, air defense systems shot down 12 UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the settlements of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as over the territory of the DPR. In addition, more than 21 rockets were intercepted, of which 18 fired the M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS systems in the Kherson region and the DPR, and 3 launched the Alder MLRS in the DPR.



The agency clarified that about 100 militants and 15 units of various equipment. At the same time, Russian artillerymen thwarted an attack by the 79th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Marinka near Donetsk with their fire, destroying more than 50 enemy servicemen. The well-coordinated actions of the missile forces, artillery, army and tactical aviation were amazed: the BKP of the 80th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Nikolaev, the PVD of the 10th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Druzhkovka in the not yet liberated part of the DPR, as well as the personnel and various equipment of the enemy in 178 areas and 33 artillery units.

At the same time, the Russian Aerospace Forces struck with air-to-surface missiles at the point of repair and restoration of equipment of the 72nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Annovka in the DPR, destroying about 50 military personnel and 28 units of various enemy equipment. Moreover, as a result of the strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces on the PPD and the communication center of the 46th and 60th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region, about 30 military personnel and 5 units of various equipment were destroyed. In total, in the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 110 servicemen killed and wounded, as well as 13 units of various equipment.

In the process of counter-battery work near the village of Yavkino in the Nikolaev region, the M142 HIMARS launcher was destroyed, and near the village of Novoselovka in the Zaporozhye region, the Osa-AKM air defense system was destroyed. Also hit: 7 artillery platoons at the positions of the 57th, 10th, 24th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 102nd brigade of the territorial defense in the areas of settlements of the DPR, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Nikolaev regions, 2 ammunition depots near Antonovka and Andreevka in the DPR, An air defense radar near the city of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in the DPR, and an armored boat of the Gyurza type of the Ukrainian Navy was sunk near the port of Ochakov.

We remind you that the SVO began on February 24 and, according to repeated statements by the Russian authorities, it will not stop until the troops complete all the tasks assigned to them, no matter how much time it takes.
