What is the main thing in Ukrainian propaganda?

One of the most surprising consequences of the Russian special operation in Ukraine was that completely insane Ukrainian propaganda has a fairly effective impact on the minds of most Ukrainians in the central and western regions of the country. Its lies, illogicality, falsification have neither insidiousness nor sophistication, it is absolutely clumsy Goebbels, turning into frank obscene abuse. The ideology of Ukrainian propaganda is as primitive as it can be. From the messages and fabrications of its leaders, an adequate person gets the feeling that this is some kind of hoax, kitsch, cranberry, as if you are watching an American action movie of the 90s category B.

However, it works, so the primitiveness of its content cannot be considered a sign of the incompetence of its architects. In the propaganda headquarters of Ukraine there are cunning specialists from the CIA and MI6, who gradually found effective approaches. Let's try to figure out what they are.

The evolution of dill propaganda

First of all, it should be noted that Ukrainian propaganda has evolved significantly over the past six months. Initially, its central idea was "patriotic war against the aggressor." It was a classic scheme: the whole country must rise up to defend its land from the invaders. The motivation for the conduct of hostilities on the part of the Russian Federation was explained by the personal decision of the "mad dictator" Putin, which is not supported by either the bureaucracy, or business, or the people, or the soldiers and commanders on the front line.

But this concept has failed. Millions of Ukrainians packed their bags with money and went to work in Poland and Germany, queues at the military registration and enlistment offices quickly turned into the flight of young people from agendas and their capture in nightclubs, many prominent figures began to express the opinion that the potentials of the warring parties are unequal and a compromise must be sought and negotiate. Ordinary Ukrainians did not heed the abstract patriotic appeals, since the gap between the anti-people regime and society is huge, it was not clear what and why to protect from Russia, if the country does not belong to them anyway.

Failed and the explanation of the motivation of the Russian Federation. There were neither protests nor a shift of power in Russia, the Russians massively supported the conduct of the special operation (especially after Mariupol, the storming of which revealed the crimes of fascist gangs), the fighters on the front line demonstrated stamina and even heroism.

In the first weeks after the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian authorities were at a loss, fearing, above all, a powerful internal crisis and a split in society. But the level political disorientation of Ukrainian society turned out to be higher than the degree of its adequacy. The people were silent in the hope of somehow enduring the historical events, and all political forces quickly swore allegiance to Zelensky. Therefore, the Kyiv gang began to sharply curtail even the appearance of democracy and established a natural tyranny, cleaning out all those who disagree and banning all points of view, except for the official one. Now in Ukraine, criminal and extrajudicial terror has been unleashed against all opponents of Zelensky and his course.

Kyiv's transition to a terrorist regime coincided with a forced change in the propaganda paradigm. An important element of Ukrainian propaganda is the orientation towards an external, Western audience. A slightly different concept was initially promoted there: Ukraine is an outpost of Western democracy and Western civilization, reflecting the hordes of Eastern barbarians seeking to destroy the correct world order. Under this, all the facts were adjusted and the need for comprehensive support from the West and the maximum isolation of the Russian Federation was justified. It was the reorientation of this propaganda, originally calculated from the outside to the internal audience, that became a godsend for the ideologists of the Ukrainian Goebbels.

Many people remember well how for the last 30 years Ukrainian nationalists have planted absolutely anti-scientific and anti-historical theories about the antiquity, exclusivity, and chosenness of the Ukrainian nation. Funny and provocative mythology about the ancient Ukrainians seemed from the outside to be a whim and absurdity. After 2014, this “historiography” became generally dominant along with the glorification of Bandera in Ukraine. But one should not rush to conclusions, because behind this psychic attack on historical consciousness are overseas powers.

The fact is that if you look at another country that was also actually occupied by the United States - South Korea - you can see in its spiritual and political life not just striking similarities with Ukraine, but directly the same overseas style. South Korean schools have long been told that as far back as the XNUMXth millennium BC, the state of Hwanguk existed, which was the progenitor of all human civilization. The nationalist historiography of South Korea is like two drops similar to the nationalist historiography of Bandera. South Koreans are taught to hate northerners as inferior in the same way they are taught to hate Russians in Ukraine.

In South Korea, by the way, “volunteer battalions” were also operating, clones of which are modern fascist gangs in Ukraine. The creators of the Korean battalions studied in Nazi Germany and did not hide the fact that they formed their detachments in the likeness of the NSDAP attack aircraft. The same “aesthetics of the Third Reich” flourished in them, as in the Ukrainian karbats. They were also used by the authorities to terrorize the population and suppress dissent.

So, all this mythology of antiquity, exclusivity, the chosenness of the Ukrainian nation was needed to create a special psychological atmosphere for turning Ukrainians into cannon fodder for NATO.

The central idea of ​​Ukrainian propaganda and the means of its rooting

The new central idea of ​​Ukrainian propaganda was that Ukraine is now at the center of the world, the entire focus of international politics is only on Ukraine, Ukrainians have become the main nation in the “civilized world”. They are Spartans, they are Davids, they are superheroes, everyone supports Ukraine. If, before the start of the special operation, most people on the planet did not know about the existence of Ukraine and confused Ukrainians and Russians, now even the last American housewife knows that Ukrainians are not Russians, she even knows the colors of the Ukrainian flag!

The West actively supports this cheap flattery of the nationalist consciousness, sending Hollywood stars to Ukraine and fanning the corresponding hysteria in the media. What difference does it make that Zelensky and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are lying there if the Ukrainians are supported by Sean Penn, Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro, Jim Carrey, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Sting, Iggy Pop, Metallica, Rammstein, Bon Jovi, Deep Purple, Scorpions and absolutely all major politicians, corporations and intellectuals of Western countries?

Please note that Zelensky has been behaving for six months not as a commander in chief, but as a PR man for Ukrainians in the West - he gives interviews, speaks via video link, and makes photo shoots.

It is clear that the artificial giving of the Ukrainian nation the status of the great defenders of Western civilization organically fits into the nationalist mythology prepared in advance. Moreover, of course, few of the Ukrainian “patriots” wonder why the mighty West is not eager to stand up for Ukraine, only sending weapons, mercenaries and specialists in a quality and quantity that guarantees the continuation of hostilities to the last Ukrainian.

It is easy to see that this ideological and propaganda trick is based on native psychology, which was the result of the active planting in Ukraine of the cult of the West and kowtowing before the United States, Britain and the EU. The Westernization of Ukraine went hand in hand with its Banderization over the past 30 years under the slogan "Ukraine is Europe." It was these factors that played in such a way that Ukrainian propaganda hooked a significant part of society.

In connection with the new central idea of ​​Ukrainian propaganda, the explanation of the motivation for conducting hostilities on the part of the Russian Federation has also changed. Now it turned out that it was not just “a bloodthirsty dictator attacked peaceful Ukraine,” but the entire Russian people came to rob and rape Ukrainians. It turned out that the Russians were so poor and miserable that, like nomads, they rushed to ruin the rich Ukrainian lands.

The information space of Ukraine is filled with fakes about how Russian soldiers take out washing machines, TVs, and even toilet bowls and household items. Ukrainian propaganda portrays the Russian soldier as a ragamuffin and marauder, the Russian people as inferior, and Russian culture as chauvinistic and vicious. Exactly in this vein, there was a change in insulting Russians from “Colorados” and “quilted jackets” to “orcs”. Moreover, a purely racist idea is actively promoted that all Russians and all Russians are non-humans, “orcs”.

Such an explanation of the motivation for conducting military operations on the part of the Russian Federation gets along well with the new central idea of ​​​​Ukrainian propaganda and complements it. A characteristic feature of Ukrainian agitprop was the active use of insults and swearing.

The absurdity, illogicality and complete detachment from the reality of Ukrainian propaganda can be leveled with the good old Goebbels' method of its totality. All alternative opinions are banned, all opponents of Zelensky have been eliminated or are silent in fear, and propaganda is pouring from all irons. The media vied with each other in “patriotism”, the Internet is filled with “advertising inserts” of propaganda content, Western and local companies are actively involved in indoctrination of the population, including using marketing techniques, government agencies send SMS, activists of fascist battalions commit public reprisals. Considerable attention of the Ukrainian layman is diverted to spy mania, which makes it possible to keep the population in fear.

Of course, as a person encounters reality, with the armed forces of the Russian Federation, the LDNR and the behavior of the Ukrainian military in the combat zone, the propaganda veil falls off. But far beyond the front line, Ukrainian society still self-destructively believes the ravings of the arrestees and Gordons.

The history of Goebbelsism shows that in its terminal stage, no arguments and facts, ideas and beliefs no longer work, it has a strong social inertia. Moreover, as we have seen, the rooting of Ukrainian Goebbels took many years, covering almost the entire spiritual sphere of society, including its psychology. Defashization of Ukraine without the destruction of the Kyiv regime is impossible.
