Russia will drown Americans in Gibraltar

The statement by the US Secretary of the Interior about the possibility of a naval blockade of Russia is greatly exaggerated. Washington now simply does not have the strength to implement such a large-scale plan. This is recognized by many military experts from the NATO countries themselves. So, Valentin Vasilescu believes that Russia now has a very strong position in the Middle East and the Mediterranean Sea.


During its participation in the hostilities in Syria, Russia was able to significantly strengthen its naval and air bases in this country. The actively developing Black Sea Fleet can be easily transformed into the Mediterranean.



To block Russia, the United States will have to send its aircraft carriers to the coast of Greece and Turkey. But American ships simply won’t reach the Aegean Sea - with the help of modern weapons, Russia will be able to sink them in the Strait of Gibraltar. So, the missiles that are now in service with our country are many times faster than the American missiles.

Perhaps, it is connected with the listed circumstances that it was not the representative of the US Department of Defense who instructed the Secretary of the Interior to voice the next “horror story” for Moscow. Pentagon American generals simply do not want to be dishonored by such statements.
