Russian aircraft destroyed several Ukrainian Su-27s on the ground
For five months, the Ukrainian Air Force has been diligently hiding its aircraft from Russian missiles using alternate airfields, but this is not always successful. It became known that on July 23, during a Russian special operation on Ukrainian territory, the RF Armed Forces destroyed several Su-27 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that were on the ground.
On this day, Ukrainian information resources and functionaries reported that the Russians carried out a missile attack on several objects near the city of Kropyvnytskyi (former Kirovohrad). According to Andrey Raikovich, the head of the Kirovograd Regional State Administration, the RF Armed Forces launched 13 missiles: 8 Kalibr anti-ship missiles launched the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy, and 5 Kh-22 Burya ammunition launched long-range supersonic Tu-22M3 bombers. The official specified that Russian missiles hit the Kanatovo military airfield and Ukrzaliznytsia infrastructure.
It should be noted that Kanatovo is a reserve air base of the Ukrainian Air Force, where Ukrainians periodically hide their planes and helicopters. It is assumed that the Tu-22M3 was worked out at the indicated airfield.
Satellite images have appeared on the Web that confirm the destruction of at least two, and probably three Su-27 fighters, which were located there in equipped parking lots.
Moreover, Google maps show that there are no parking lots there. Therefore, they appeared there relatively recently, and Google has not yet updated the data.
We remind you that on May 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense informed that Russian missiles had destroyed an aviation machinery at the Kanatovo airfield. The new missile attack indicates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not stopped using this facility.
