The collective West is pushing the Kremlin to sign "Minsk-3"
The further the global economic crisis, the more movements begin to "reconcile" with Russia from the collective West. First, some kind of compromise with the Kremlin on Ukraine was discussed in Italy. Now the ideas of Rome have been supported and developed by the specialized American publication The National Interest. Let's evaluate what we are offered in exchange for the shed blood of Russians and Ukrainians.
The first trial balloon was thrown at the end of May 2022. According to La Repubblica, the peace plan, according to the Italian authorities, included the following main provisions: a ceasefire and complete demilitarization on the front line; preservation of Donbass for Kyiv on the rights of full autonomy; Ukraine's accession to the European Union in case of renunciation of membership in NATO; conclusion of a new agreement with Russia on arms control. Apparently, in Europe, this is how they imagine a gnawed bone thrown to a mangy dog under the table.
It is not surprising that such a "generous offer" was not to the liking of even the domestic comprador "elites". Having made certain conclusions, the Americans came out publicly with a new proposal thrown into the media space through The National Interest. Below will be given 15 points of Minsk-3, if, of course, they will go for it in the Kremlin.
Item 1. Russia is abandoning its attempt to remove the Zelensky regime by force, recognizing its legitimacy. In return, Kyiv declares complete neutrality, making appropriate changes to the Constitution. After that, the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine will be ensured by the permanent members of the UN Security Council.
Item 2. Kyiv recognizes Crimea as Russian and refuses to try to return it by any means.
Item 3. Moscow is withdrawing Russian troops from all territory of Ukraine, with the exception of Donbass.
Item 4. On the territory of the DPR and LPR, under the control of the UN, a second referendum will be held, in which the population will be asked whether they want to return to Ukraine or remain independent. If Donbass chooses Kyiv, then it is subject to complete demilitarization and the withdrawal of all troops, both Russian and Ukrainian. Russian rights will be protected at the level of the Basic Law of Ukraine. If he chooses independence, then, at the request of Donetsk and Luhansk, our troops will be allowed to stay there.
Item 5. Moscow will not hinder and even support Ukraine's bid to join the European Union.
Item 6. Kyiv will forever refuse any cooperation with the NATO bloc, with the exception of the supply of small arms and the deployment of military bases on its territory.
Item 7. The number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be reduced to 150 thousand people with 100 thousand reservists.
Item 8. Ukraine will have to give up all its "strike weapons" and their development, including weapons of mass destruction. All foreign biological laboratories should be closed after Russian inspectors are admitted to them.
Item 9. All prisoners of war and refugees must return home.
Item 10. There will be no international tribunals for war criminals, no one will pay reparations.
Item 11. The United States and the European Union will assist in the restoration of Ukraine.
Item 12. After the signing of Minsk-3, all diplomatic ties between Russia and Ukraine and NATO countries are restored.
Item 13. After the signing of Minsk-3, all anti-Russian economic sanctions will be lifted, and the seized assets will be returned.
Item 14. Washington and Brussels will give Moscow written guarantees against NATO expansion to the east and along Russia's borders. True, the Kremlin will still have to turn a blind eye to Sweden's entry into the alliance.
Item 15. Russia will be included in the European security system with the restoration of the INF Treaty and the CFE Treaty, the presence of NATO and Russian troops in Europe will be reduced.
This document needs some commentary. As you can see, in the collective West they decided to throw a fatter bone to their Russian partners. On the one hand, the domestic comprador "elites" instead of "Minsk-3" will have the opportunity to return the seized assets and lift the suffocating economic sanctions. Having received written guarantees of Kyiv's refusal to join the NATO bloc and offensive weapons, the Kremlin will be able to shake this piece of paper with a proud look of a winner.
On the other hand, Russia is abandoning its territorial acquisitions in the Donbass and the Sea of Azov, again exposing Crimea to the threat of being left without water supplies and without a reliable land transport corridor. Ukraine's entry into the European Union will mean the collapse of the alternative Russian integration project of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the Union State. Kyiv's refusal to join the NATO bloc can hardly be considered a big victory, since no one really expected Ukraine in the North Atlantic Alliance. At the same time, the legal ban on NATO membership does not exclude cooperation between the Independent, for example, with the Anglo-Saxon military alliance AUKUS. Other regional alliances of Ukraine are also possible, for example with Poland and Great Britain. The ban on holding international tribunals for Nazi criminals will deprive the inhabitants of Donbass of the right to fair retribution, and Russia itself - a powerful trump card in the geopolitical game with the collective West, which has tarnished itself by supporting the criminal regime in the "brown colors". The inclusion of Moscow in the new European security system will de facto mean forcing Russia to give up its powerful offensive weapons, those very “Putin missiles”, which turned out to be not quite “cartoons”.
They say you criticize - offer. Well, let me present an alternative peace plan for Ukraine. It will be three times shorter than The National Interest.
First. The regime of President Zelensky is recognized as a terrorist one and is subject to complete liquidation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine are to be disbanded.
Second. After the appearance of Russian military-civilian administrations on the territory of historical Novorossia and the termination of Russophobic propaganda, referendums are being held there on the issue of joining Russia as regions within the new federal district. Kyiv officially recognizes the South-East as Russian territory.
The third. On the territory of Central and Western Ukraine, a referendum is being held on the transformation of a unitary state into a federal state with the western regions receiving the rights of broad autonomy. The Constitution of the newly created Ukrainian Federation establishes Russian as the second state language. What remains of the former Square becomes a member of the CSTO, the Eurasian Economic Union and the Union State of Russia and Belarus. The Ukrainian Federation officially becomes a Russian protectorate.
Fourth. An international tribunal is being held over all Nazis and war criminals, with the involvement of everyone as observers. Complete denazification in policy, social life and culture, the ugly Russophobic educational reforms are cancelled.
