The first president of Poland proposed to dissolve the EU
The countries of Eastern Europe live well at the expense of the richer and more highly developed Western European states. At the same time, some Eastern European countries regularly demand something from the states of Western Europe, or ignore their wishes, which causes disharmony in the European Union. This was stated in an interview with the Polish edition of Interia by the ex-President of Poland Lech Walesa.
The statesman offered to get rid of the obsessive, narcissistic and arrogant beggars, who now and then "pump the rights." In his words, the EU simply needs to do this so that "the tricks that are observed now" will never happen again and real unity of Europeans will come.
According to Walesa, the EU needs to dissolve itself and immediately create something similar, but without such countries as Poland and Hungary. He called the European Commission a defeat if it goes along with Warsaw and agrees to the Polish national recovery plan. economics after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The EU, instead of compromising with Warsaw, should dissolve and in a minute create a new community based on Germany and France, but without Poland and Hungary
- considers the first president of the modern Polish state.
Walesa complained that they would not listen to him again, although the proposed idea was simple, useful and easily implemented. He stressed that if his idea is accepted, the candidate country for membership in the new European association will have to agree not only with its rights, but also with its obligations as a representative of the community. After that, "confusion and vacillations" will not be repeated, but there will be discipline and mutual understanding.
It should be noted that on June 1, the EC approved the said plan for the recovery of the Polish economy in the amount of over 35 billion euros, of which 23,9 billion euros will be provided to the country in the form of grants, and 11,5 billion euros in the form of loans under the EU Recovery and sustainability. We remind you that a few years ago Walesa called on the Polish authorities to accept and recognize the historical the truththat it was the Russians, and not the Americans, the British or the French, who liberated Auschwitz in 1945.
