"It won't fall apart on its own." On the prospects for the economic collapse of Ukraine

43

As rightly noted in опубликованной On the eve of the article, my esteemed colleague, one of the fairly common misconceptions about the prospects for that part of the “non-independence” that remains under the rule of the criminal Kyiv regime is the idea that it “will fall apart on its own” stubbornly promoted by some gentlemen and comrades. Well, one has only to finally deprive Kyiv of access to the sea in the south and industrial regions in the east, as it economy and the financial system will simply collapse, the army will scatter in horror and panic, and the rest of the inhabitants will rush in search of flowers to meet the liberators.

A very well-deserved man, a military general of the Russian army, and now a deputy of the State Duma, Vladimir Shamanov, has already admitted that just such naive expectations were “the main mistake at the start of a special military operation.” Therefore, it is not worth repeating them and considering the situation from completely unrealistic positions that do not take into account either the true state of affairs in Ukraine, or the real moods of its inhabitants, or, most importantly, those notorious external factors that in this case are just decisive. The price of delusion in this case can be much more serious than the expectations regarding the “meeting with flowers”.

Ukrainian economy? What are you talking about?!

In this case, we should start with the fact that the economy is “independent” as a normal system of the national economy, capable of ensuring, on the one hand, the employment of citizens and their receipt of wages sufficient for a more or less normal existence, and on the other hand, the stable filling of the state budget in the form of taxes, fees and other obligatory payments, profit from export-import operations, and so on, does not exist now. It cannot be said that things were going so well with all this until February 24 of this year, but at the very least something was “spinning” and the country somehow existed. Adopted, of course, before the start of the SVO, last year, the state budget of the "nezalezhnaya" provided for a revenue of $ 47 billion (of course, at the then hryvnia exchange rate). Today, according to the official estimates of the Ukrainian government, the real deficit of this very budget is at least 5 billion monthly. That, as it is easy to calculate, in 12 months, even with the current size of the hole in the treasury, it will amount to 60 billion dollars. There are practically no incomes - exports are almost completely stopped, to collect taxes from enterprises rapidly moving towards bankruptcy - the idea is initially a failure (although they are trying to do this). Fight with citizens? So millions of those sit without work and, having almost spent their accumulated savings somehow, systematically approach not only the notorious poverty line, but the brink of natural starvation. Having no chance of finding a job at home, they are also deprived of the traditional opportunity to travel abroad in order to get at least some work there.

The National Bank of Ukraine is trying to "save the case" with the help of a printing press, but this is akin to extinguishing a fire with gasoline. According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance, “nezalezhnaya”, brand new banknotes since the beginning of the CVO have been stamped for a monstrous amount of 120 billion hryvnias. And this is only for the redemption of military bonds of the Cabinet of Ministers - a new form of government bonds (bonds of internal state loan), which arose after February 24. Naturally, such tricks could not but accelerate inflation to the limit. For some time, the financial regulator tried to keep the dollar exchange rate in the country at a level close to the “pre-war”, but after the purchase of currency anywhere except the black market became completely unrealistic, this was abandoned. Currently, the official exchange rate is kept somewhere around 40 hryvnia per dollar, but it does not correspond to reality. And if Biden’s grandfather’s words about “a dollar of 200 rubles” turned out to be a bad joke, then the prospect of paying 100 hryvnias for one “green” in Ukraine this year is being discussed in all seriousness. In fact, since the beginning of the special military operation, only two things have acted as sources of financing for the state budget of the country: first of all, the military bonds mentioned above and, secondly, international assistance. For two months, the treasury received 13,8 billion dollars (or more than 404 billion hryvnias) in this way. For 120 billion hryvnia, as already mentioned, the military OVZG bought the National Bank. About UAH 90 billion came to the budget from their sale to investors, another UAH 41,3 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the form of a loan. Everything else (that is, a little less than half) is the financial support of various Western countries. It is precisely without it that the financial system of Ukraine will come to an end in the blink of an eye.

According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, as of early May, $12 billion worth of aid has entered Ukraine from behind the cordon. However, this amount takes into account not only financial "infusions", but primarily the supply of weapons, military equipment, ammunition and more. At the same time, which is typical, in the form of grants (that is, gratuitous assistance), Kyiv received only 1,35 billion dollars - from the United States, Britain, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Latvia, Lithuania and Iceland. Everything else is loans, loans, debts. And sooner or later they will have to be given away, as well as to pay for supplies under the American Lend-Lease. Why such a detailed digression into the flawed and painful world of the Ukrainian "economy"? And besides, to show that it will not “fall apart”, no matter how much Azovstal is destroyed and ports are blocked. As it was said in the series that chained millions of people around the world not so long ago to television screens - “What is dead cannot die!” According to the frank admission of the same Shmyhal, made on May 7, Ukrainian officials will be paid salaries from loans from international banks. For this, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to attract one and a half billion hryvnias from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the World Bank. There is no doubt - they will allocate. Where will they go. Having turned Ukraine into a notorious “suitcase without a handle” with its own hands, the collective West can no longer leave it even with a strong enough desire. Too much money has been invested, too ambitious and global tasks like the "military defeat of Russia" or at least its "maximum weakening" are not just set, but announced publicly. If the dog got into the wheel - food, but run ... Some attempts to “recapture” their own costs, such as the total export of food supplies from the “nezalezhnaya” are being made right now, but this is not enough. Too little.

What is the conclusion from the above? Yes, if Russia, God forbid, stops, liberating only the territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk republics, as well as the Black Sea and the Sea of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbAzov, the criminal Kyiv regime will not fall by itself, and the remnants of Ukraine controlled by it will not fall apart in any way. No need to build dangerous illusions! The state apparatus, the army, the police, the SBU will be regularly financed by the West, from where more and more deadly and dangerous for Russia weapons systems will come from. The war will indeed continue until the last Ukrainian. Ordinary people? The one who, according to some naive dreamers, having found himself in deep poverty and devastation, will certainly have to “demolish Zelensky” and elevate someone to the pinnacle of power who will stop hostilities on conditions dictated by Moscow? These are the fabrications I cannot read without bouts of Homeric laughter. Breaking through tears ... Is it still unclear that no one will "demolish" anyone and even dare to object to what is happening in the country even in an undertone? Believe me, even now life in the vast majority of territories controlled by the Ukronazis, even very far from the ongoing hostilities, is far from sugar. Rather, in the local realities, it would be more accurate to say - not salt. For this already costs much more than sugar and it is almost impossible to find it on sale. It is also impossible to find automotive fuel at gas stations (at least gasoline and diesel), which, however, does not prevent a fairly large number of very expensive foreign cars from rushing around Kyiv, the drivers of which obviously do not save fuel. No one even thinks about any revolution, everyone is busy solving the pressing problems of elementary survival.

And it will not be different, no matter how much the situation worsens. For example, on the eve of Naftogaz Ukrainy announced the upcoming increase in heating prices, which, even before the start of the current events, the vast majority of Ukrainians described as completely unbearable. About a threefold increase in the tariff for enterprises of thermal communal energy! There is no new “Maidan” on this issue. It is not expected. Moreover, the official dill propaganda, working to its fullest, does not get tired of explaining to citizens 24/7 who exactly is the culprit of such a disastrous current situation, and is equally responsible for future hardships. The percentage of those who believe this and, accordingly, sooner or later will end up in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or at least the TPO, and will not go to storm Bankovaya, will surprise you very unpleasantly. And yet it is true. True picture.

In the event of the suspension of the NMD at any frontiers, except for the complete liberation of Ukraine, nothing good can happen. For a long time now, not the normal laws of the economy that are familiar to everyone have been operating in this territory, but completely different rules established far beyond its borders. The “collective West” will stop maintaining and maintaining the Kyiv regime only when it is finally and irrevocably convinced of the absolute inevitability of its military defeat and complete liquidation. Without the money and weapons of the "allies" the Ukronazis really won't survive for any long time. However, in order for the ugly entity called "Ukraine" to really fall apart, the flags of Victory must fly not only over Kherson and Mariupol. And not even over Odessa, Nikolaev, Kharkov and Zaporozhye alone. The victory of the forces of Liberation must become undeniable and indisputable for the whole world - only then will it be complete and, most importantly, final.

    That's right!
It can be said differently. The more territory remains outside the power of Russia, the more problems there will be for us.
This I mean that narrow-minded people think that pieces of b. Ukraine that became part of Poland, Romania or somewhere else will not be used against Russia. All resources on these lands will definitely be directed against us. The West does not feel sorry for the Ukrainians. However, Poles, Romanians, Balts, etc. - also.

The main problem is that most of the supporters dream that this would be possible without economic problems and with little bloodshed. And at the same time, very fast.

I, too, dream of Belarus regaining its Lithuanian lands. Got access to the sea. And also, so that the Belarusians take the Volyn region (Lutsk) for re-education. These are also Belarusian lands. But will the Belarusians themselves want this? Not sure.

What objections can there be to "little blood"?

The objection is not against "little bloodshed", but about the fact that this is combined with the desire "quickly, quickly."

it comes to many (and this is facilitated by reports from the fortified areas taken by the APU) that this is not fast,
it dawned on many immediately (and therefore the howl began among the majority of the "singing brethren" from the stage) that we would not get off cheaply

Where does gas, oil and oil products come from in Ukraine? In this question, the answer is whether Ukraine will fall apart or not by itself. We want to break Banderostan? Need to show political will

And who is stopping Russia from conducting its propaganda against Ukraine? Is there TV and radio broadcasting from Kherson, Snigerevka and Transnistria to Nikolaev and Odessa? And to Kharkov, Sumy and Chernihiv? Do Russian radio stations work for Ukraine in the HF, MW, DV frequency bands?
I'm not talking about the banal dropping of leaflets. Maybe you need to organize a propaganda department under the RF Armed Forces?

Crazy thought: what if the printing press is bombed, what will happen?
    1. +3
      27 May 2022 10: 41
Nothing terrible will happen, because the so-called. there is no printing press. By and large, it certainly exists, but its function is to maintain the required amount of paper money in circulation. And the expression "turn on the printing press" has long meant a simple drawing of amounts in the banking and financial system, i.e. the regulator allows its subjects from a certain moment to operate with a larger money supply in the accounts. Therefore, by destroying the conditional printing equipment at the conditional Banknote and Mint, you will in no way reduce the size of the broad money supply.

Weakly related things are compared. Military and economic components. Of course, there is a connection between them, but in this case it is not so obvious.

The military component is not connected with the destruction of the state itself (in any case, this is not openly discussed). The goal is the security of Russia. And for this, the state of Ukraine must be demilitarized. If it means destroying it, then it will be done.
An economic war against Ukraine doesn't make much sense. If Ukraine falls into the orbit of Russian influence, then the Ukrainian economy will have to be restored. And "who feeds the girl, then she dances." That is, Ukraine in the sphere of influence of Russia will have to be restored at the expense of Russia.

There is a war against the West. The idea of the Western "elites" was to hang the content of Ukraine on Russia's neck. Hence the transit agreement and the supply of energy resources and the blocking of SP-2. But now all the costs are on the neck of the West. And Europe will not contain this suitcase without a handle, and even with a defeated army. Aid to Ukraine is becoming an unbearable burden for Europe. The question is not about money (they will be printed as much as they like). The issue is the stability of European countries. Sanctions against Russia are very costly. So the thesis

Where will they go. Having turned Ukraine into a notorious “suitcase without a handle” with its own hands, the collective West can no longer leave it even with a strong enough desire.

I would consider the main and a little extended. In the West, everything is ruled by money. And financiers know that sometimes you need to fix losses and stop playing. It's like playing roulette. You can't raise the stakes indefinitely.
That's when the industrialists of Europe will straighten the brains of European officials, then Ukraine will end.

PS Given the amount of Ukraine's debts, keeping it in its current state does not seem appropriate. Russia will not pay these debts.

Unfortunately, the old axiom that politics serves the economy is no longer true.
For rich countries, especially those that have their own currency as a global one, the economy becomes secondary. You can always smooth out any crisis by printing a trillion euros or dollars.
Therefore, one should not rely on the industrialists of Europe. European officials operate the printing press. They rule.

A trillion euros or dollars could be "printed" when there was a world order based on globalism.
By imposing sanctions and then limiting the circulation of the dollar (euro), the West slashed itself at Faberge.
Previously, the entire currency diverged around the world. And inflation was also distributed around the world. And now inflation is returning to those who "print" candy wrappers.

Interesting. When they say that the Central Bank of Russia cannot simply print rubles for no reason (despite the fact that the backing of the ruble is excessive), this is understood as an axiom. Although this is not true.
But the West is free to print a trillion, having 30 trillion of unsecured debt. And for some reason this is also considered quite probable.
I must remind you that oil is sold by Russia, Saudis and bought by China not for dollars. Gas to Europe also goes not for the euro.

Politicians can serve anyone. But no one has been able to deceive the economy so far. The maintenance of a country like Ukraine is beyond the power of the West. Yes, he (the West) initially did not set such a task.

The accession of the Crimean Autonomous Region to the Russian Federation would have been impossible without the consent of the leadership of the Crimean Autonomous Region, which, after the coup d'etat and the nationalists came to power, was threatened by the same lustration as in other regions of Ukraine.
Before deciding on the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Federation, an analysis of the moods in the leadership of the Crimean Autonomous Okrug and the Crimean population was carried out, and, as the referendum showed, its conclusions were fully justified.
This is the case when the desire of the ruling elite of the Crimean Autonomous Okrug completely coincided with the desire of the population.
The decisive factor was the presence of the base of the Russian Navy in Sevastopol, without which it is unlikely that they would have been able to disarm the Ukrainian military units stationed on the peninsula and block the delivery of the nationalist detachments of Western Ukraine pouring in by “friendship” trains with all the ensuing consequences.
After the annexation of the Crimean Autonomous Region, Russophobia became the official policy not only of Ukraine, but of the entire so-called. collective west. In Germany, the population was thoroughly brainwashed from 1933 to 1939, then in Ukraine from 2014, and in fact immediately after the collapse of the USSR, until 2022, and it should be noted that it was not unsuccessful.
The main thing, as Yury Ivanovich Podolyaka noted, was the betrayal of the Ukrainian elites, who not only did not support the special military operation, but actually took the side of the nationalists, and therefore there could be no question of a “meeting with flowers”.
In the event of the suspension of the NMD at any frontiers, except for the complete liberation of Ukraine, nothing good can happen, and therefore the negotiations initiated by the Russian Federation with the nationalists on the denazification of Ukraine, so that the non-commissioned officer's widow flogs herself, look extremely strange.

That is why it is necessary to negotiate not with Ukraine and not even with Europe, but with the United States, and they have nothing to offer us.
Therefore, it remains either to demolish the khokhlyachny regime by military means (which they are not going to do and talk about it). It remains to fight and wait until the economic and geopolitical benefits from the war over Ukraine begin to overlap with economic and political losses for the EU in the first place, we also endure this, but unfortunately we have no choice, unlike European puppets.
We are waiting for at least one country from the EU that will openly stop supporting Ukraine

Yah. The base on which the influence of world currencies has decreased has decreased by several percent. By 2-3, maximum by 4%. As far as I know, only Russia does not use the dollar and the euro in trade.

And you do not take into account the huge debts in "world" currencies. How can China use the US debt? Only buy something in Africa with debt dollars. With a high risk of losing all this as long as the military force is for the United States.

This has been discussed many times.
Russia's place in terms of parity in the world economy is sixth. That is about 15%. But now it turns out that this is the REAL 15%. And not an inflated GDP.
Tell me, who is now interested in what (a favorite feature of the liberals), the capitalization of Yabloko is higher than the capitalization of Gazprom? What is more important for Europe now: iPhone or gas?
About China. China has more than one trillion in US debt. Just a couple of days ago there was a meeting where Comrade Xi asked the leading banks in China how they guarantee the safety of this trillion? The answer is no.
The banking system, and by and large the entire world monetary system, rests on trust. I give money to the bank and the bank GUARANTEES me the return of my money on demand. If this condition is not met, then the whole system will not work.
Not only Russia does not use the dollar. I wrote China and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement that oil is sold for national currencies. This is the first consequence of the confiscation of Russia's gold reserves.
Inflation is returning to the States and Europe. This is the result of the sanctions. Moreover, for Europe the situation is much worse. The euro has already lost 10-15% of its value against the dollar.

The numbers are moving around. From 3 to 20%.
What are we discussing? That Russia's disconnection from the dollar will not affect the world economy in any way? For some reason, reality does not confirm this.
The shutdown of a country like Russia has led to a global crisis. And first of all, to the crisis of confidence.
Sanctions, even against Iran, have led to a crisis. And the West circumvented these sanctions as best it could. The most cunning was Mark Rich.
There are basic rules of economics. And there is a global trend of the last 30 years.
      1. Capitalism can develop only in conditions of expanding markets. Any narrowing of the sales market means a crisis. In light of this, the imposition of sanctions, embargoes and other non-economic decisions lead to a crisis. Russia is too big to be turned off so easily.
      2. The general trend is globalization. That is free circulation, labor and capital. Sanctions have destroyed this trend.
In the West (Europe and the USA) inflation is now unprecedented. In any case, it beats records for the last 40 years. Inflation is the depreciation of money. I don't mind if they print another hundred or two billion. Yes, even a trillion. And they will give them to Ukraine. Or scatter "from helicopters." They will not be able to sell them to China, because trust has been lost. And the Saudis will think about whether to take toxic currency?
It's "toxic". The West itself tried to give it such a status. It is not even backed by a word of honor, let alone a real product.

And what do you really doubt?
The issue price is 50-60 billion euros per year. We are not talking about decades.
During the pandemic, Europe "printed" several trillion euros. What is another 60 billion for her? And if we also take into account that the Americans also give money, then the maintenance of Ukraine becomes quite cheap.

      27 May 2022 16: 42
You won't eat money. What 50-60 billion? Production stops and there is no food. Ukraine has already received 60 billion since the beginning of the year (again, the numbers vary). Zelensky asked for 7 billion a month. And that's just for the war. Then in Kyiv they adjusted the cost of 5 billion per month. This is what the required 60 billion does.
For some reason, Europe is groaning from 5-6 million refugees, who are much cheaper. Take on the full maintenance of another 25 to 30 million Ukrainians? Do you believe in it?
THE WEST CANNOT PRINT 60 billion dollars. He used to be able to, now he can't. Because the dollar has lost credibility. That's what I've been talking about since the beginning. By inertia, someone else believes in his inviolability. But this is only possible by returning to the old system. That is, the lifting of sanctions, the return of what was confiscated and the provision of guarantees to Russia.

The problem is not the amount of money. If all problems were solved by printing colored paper, then we would all be in chocolate. The problem is the lack of resources. Food, water, oil, gas, metal, wood ..... and even the same iPhones. There are no resources in Europe, and the States have moved their production to Southeast Asia.

"Europe has always been doing this, since the Cold War, since absolutely all European states are dependent on cheap Russian energy resources. And exactly on this foundation the basic welfare of European states was built"

You ask Medinsky and Slutsky at what point they will stop the NWO. You never know what the people want. In the Russian Federation, the fifth column is more important than the people.

I fully support the respected author (Alexander Neukropny, Kyiv) and those who supported him, even a small non-Russian enclave on the territory of the former Ukraine should not be allowed, it is especially important to cut off Ukraine from neighboring

states, here the deputy Milonov had a map

It seems that the simple Russian word "clearing" is unknown to you. Already, according to various estimates, cash payments account for 5-10% of payments made by individuals.

Ouch. Even "non-cash" must be provided with "cash". Otherwise, for what preferences will you buy vodka in a stall? Or eat?

Well, now it’s clear why you need cash - only for booze and devour. Do I understand correctly that there is no money left for the rest? But seriously, we only have grannies with parsley in the markets without a card reader.
Of course, if the question “Where to run?” arises, then cash is definitely needed here. Although when they ask me this question, I answer: "To the military registration and enlistment office, for a machine gun"

True, the EU and the US do not recognize our right to change our constitution.

They admit they don’t recognize it, should we be interested in this? If they don't like it they can send 3 letters.

We can analyze this topic from different angles, but one thing is for sure. Everything is planned, and although the script renews life in detail, the main goal is consistently pursued. And this is not about the fate of Ukraine, but about the fate of the world. However, one must be optimistic that good will prevail.

The author refuses to acknowledge that Nazism in Ukraine has become a movement that controls the brains of most of western Ukraine. What is the point of Russia going to a long, costly war, even liberating Western Ukraine, a country that will be completely devastated after the war and which will require billions to restore. Russian army will not stop where it is exhausted, it will stop where its social conditions will not allow. and everyone knows in what areas of Ukraine friendly social conditions prevail. just look at the map of Ukraine with polling stations of pro-Russian politicians. As for Western Ukraine. If the West needs to send billions of dollars every three days or so to keep Ukraine from Russian influence, then Ukraine is nothing more than a black hole for them. Some confuse the Russian army with a club of fellow intellectuals. train Ukrainian Nazis and turn them from Nazis into supporters of Lenin's books. The Russian army goes to Ukraine to protect the Russian-speaking population from the Nazi genocide. It was the choice of the Ukrainian oligarchy and the people of western Ukraine to turn their state into a Nazi state hostile to the Russian-speaking population now they will pay the cost.

It is imperative to liberate the Odessa and Nikolaev regions, to go to the Transnistria. Then it is better to fight with the Aerospace Forces, missiles and artillery, saving the lives of our soldiers. Sooner or later, the vertical of power in Ukraine will collapse, and a struggle for power will begin. Ukraine will begin to disintegrate into regions, plunging into chaos. The Dnepropetrovsk region will be the first to separate from Ukraine, having agreed with the Russian Federation on neutrality.
