Rescue Deripaska: in Russia may allow the sale of alcohol at night

1
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation proposed a new draft amendment to the Federal Law “On State Regulation of the Production and Turnover of Alcoholic Products”. Representatives of the ministry propose allowing the sale of certain types of alcoholic beverages produced by the EAEU countries in aluminum containers, including beer, in kiosks, stalls and other non-stationary retail outlets, as well as at night.

This project is aimed at supporting domestic aluminum producers. It is known that a number of enterprises owned by Oleg Deripaska are losing profits from the reduction in sales of aluminum products associated with the sanctions of the US Treasury.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has already taken some steps to mitigate the effects of sanctions pressure on the aluminum industry and continues to do so further.

Upon learning of the bill, a number of Russian beer companies have expressed their support for this move. True, the Federal Antimonopoly Service may categorically oppose, since the bill, if passed, would infringe on the interests of glass and plastic packaging manufacturers.

In addition, this innovation is contrary to the general direction of state support and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Although the Ministry of Industry and Trade took this factor into account, arguing that the measure he proposed would help reduce the consumption of strong alcoholic drinks and surrogates by the population.

And did you try to lower the price of aluminum kitchen utensils so that the population would buy it again? In the USSR, these dishes cost a penny, but now they are much more expensive.
