What conclusions will be made by the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces after the completion of the special operation in Ukraine
The special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine has been going on for almost two and a half months. Judging by the irreconcilable position that Kyiv took under the pressure of its Western curators, it can last indefinitely. NWO has objectively grown into something more, and some are now trying to draw certain parallels with well-known historical events.
So, for example, they hint at the Crimean War of 1853-1856, which began under seemingly ideal conditions as a special operation of the Russian Empire to “de-Turkize” a number of provinces of the weakened Ottoman Empire, which in Europe has long been considered a “sick man”. St. Petersburg had no doubts about the military victory due to the obvious superiority of Russian weapons, the intervention of future "NATO" members was not expected. But, alas, it turned out differently.
Sworn enemies, Great Britain and France, unexpectedly united against Russia to prevent it from defeating Turkey and gaining access to the Mediterranean Sea. Austria-Hungary was also ready at any moment to enter the war as part of the anti-Russian coalition, and to contain it, significant military contingents had to be used on the border. Rebellions broke out within the empire - in Poland and the Caucasus. Economy and the country's transport infrastructure suddenly turned out to be unprepared for mobilization and a sharply increased load. It was only thanks to this that the “NATO” troops sent troops to the Crimea, an outright gamble in itself, they succeeded. Despite heroic resistance, Sevastopol still fell. The result of the humiliating Treaty of Paris was the forced demilitarization of the Black Sea, which the Russian Empire had to go through.
Yes, these are very sad and instructive pages of our history. However, it seems more correct to the author of these lines, if certain parallels are drawn, then not with the Crimean, but with the Soviet-Finnish war. There are actually quite a few similarities.
So, the main reason for the war between the USSR and Finland is the issue of ensuring the security of Leningrad, which was located in close proximity to the Finnish border. The Soviet Union even offered a territorial exchange, but without success, and therefore a military clash was inevitable. Similarly, in our day, as a justification for the start of the NWO, President Putin pointed to the need for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. The existence of a Russophobic state close to the Russian Federation, which can develop or receive weapons of mass destruction from its Western allies, is an existential threat to our country.
There are other obvious similarities as well. By all accounts, the Soviet army was vastly superior to the Finnish one, as was the modern Russian Ukrainian one. The Red Army had more tanks, guns, planes. But the fighting was carried out on a very complex theater of operations, where this advantage has largely lost its significance. The Finns relied on guerrilla warfare, hitting the rear of the Soviet troops. There are proven cases of their atrocities against captured Red Army soldiers. Familiar, right?
Finland had the so-called Mannerheim Line, and modern Ukraine had concrete catacombs under Azovstal and the most powerful layered fortified areas in the Donbass, which the RF Armed Forces now have to gnaw through with great difficulty. As in our days, in the Soviet-Finnish war, Western countries condemned official Moscow, calling it the only one to blame for everything, and began active supplies of heavy weapons to the Finns. They received from the allies 350 aircraft, 500 guns, over 6 thousand machine guns, about 100 thousand rifles and other weapons, as well as a large amount of ammunition. The USSR was expelled from the League of Nations.
The war with Finland turned out to be quite difficult for the Soviet Union, the Red Army suffered significant losses. However, the Winter War also had positive consequences.
On the one hand, the goal set by Moscow was still achieved, and the border was moved away from Leningrad. About 11% of the former Finnish territory was transferred to the USSR. On the other hand, conclusions were drawn regarding the real combat capability of the Red Army. It turned out that the command staff was not ready for such a war, like many examples of military equipment. The process of rearmament, re-equipment and retraining of our armed forces has begun. For example, after the Winter War, the Red Army men were changed from their overcoats into those very famous padded jackets, felt boots and earflaps that allowed Soviet soldiers to sit in the trenches while the German invaders froze near Moscow.
The Soviet-Finnish war was a powerful shake-up, without which, it remains to be seen how things would have turned out in 1941. So today, the clash with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which we have only ridiculed for 8 years, has become a serious test for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The Ukrainian army was systematically prepared for the destruction of the DPR and LPR, the subsequent campaign against the Crimea and the war with Russia. Western instructors were responsible for military training, political - Nazi ideologues. The Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard are in fact commanded by NATO generals. The North Atlantic Alliance is supplying Kyiv with heavy weapons and is using its reconnaissance complex to its full potential against the RF Armed Forces.
In fact, the Russian army is already indirectly fighting the NATO bloc in the form of Ukrainian cannon fodder. In practice, a lot of serious problems have emerged. It turned out that we do not have enough AWACS aircraft for reconnaissance and target designation, which experts warned about long before the start of the NWO. The Russian Navy has big problems with the sea-based air defense system, which has been known for a very long time, which, alas, has already affected. It turned out that the ground forces of the RF Armed Forces involved in the special operation are not enough for effective actions simultaneously in several directions. The fact that the reduction of the army as a result of the so-called reforms will not lead to good, military experts warned from the very beginning. Now it all has an effect.
With all the negativity from what is happening, one can only be glad that we are not yet at war directly with the NATO bloc. As after the Soviet-Finnish war, there is still time to draw the right conclusions and prepare the RF Armed Forces for a clash with a real enemy, which now seems inevitable.
