The Ministry of Defense reported on the destruction of a NATO weapons depot near Odessa

Russian troops confidently continue a special military operation on Ukrainian territory. During the evening briefing on April 23, a representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, gave a summary of the campaign.

The speaker of the military department reported that a NATO weapons depot at a military airfield near Odessa was destroyed today by high-precision long-range aviation weapons. He clarified that the blow was delivered at the logistics terminal, which accumulated various weapons brought from Europe and the United States. He did not provide any other details on this matter. However, from what he said, it can be assumed that the strike was delivered by Long-Range Aviation, i.e. bomber bombers Tu-160, Tu-95MS or Tu-22M3.



Also today, 22 military facilities of Ukraine were hit by high-precision missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces, including 11 strongholds and places of concentration of manpower and military equipment, 2 command and observation posts of the battalion and 1 control post of the enemy brigade. As a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 200 servicemen and over 30 units of armored vehicles and vehicles. Near Idyichevka and Kramatorsk, three depots of weapons and ammunition were destroyed, and in the area of ​​Novaya Dmitrovka, the Buk-M1 air defense system and three radar stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

In addition, 79 military facilities of Ukraine were hit by army and operational-tactical aviation. These include: 52 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, 16 warehouses of rocket and artillery weapons, ammunition and fuels and lubricants, as well as 6 command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also destroyed were 3 Buk-M1 air defense systems near Kurakhovka and Romanovka, and 1 Tor air defense system in the Sergeevka area.

At the same time, the air defense systems of the RF Armed Forces shot down 3 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: 2 Ukrainian ones near Izyum and Kherson, as well as 1 Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 over Lozovaya.

In turn, the Russian artillerymen and missile troops carried out 102 fire strikes. They liquidated 84 strongholds and places of concentration of manpower and military equipment, 10 artillery batteries.
