Lavrov spoke about the possibility of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine

The Indian TV channel India Today interviewed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, during which a question was asked about the possibility of using nuclear weapons to destroy Ukrainian troops and military infrastructure.


Lavrov replied, making it clear that speculation on this topic should be stopped.



The minister noted that at the moment the Russian army has begun the next stage in the liberation of the recognized republics of Donbass.

During the interview, Lavrov was asked about the possibility of changing the current Ukrainian government by military personnel and special services of the Russian Federation.

Indeed, militarypolitical the leadership of the Russian Federation clearly outlined the goals of the Special Military Operation on the territory of Ukraine, which include protecting the population of the Donbass republics, forcing Ukraine to a non-bloc and neutral status, demilitarization and denazification of the country.

Recall that earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with the American television channel CNN, announced the possibility of Russia using tactical nuclear or chemical weapons.

The hysteria of the Ukrainian side, supported by the same rhetoric of the pro-Western media, is quite understandable. The current course of hostilities not only leaves no chance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to confront the combined forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the NM LDNR, but also calls into question the future fate of many military units of Ukraine, primarily concentrated in the Donbass.

The only thing left for Ukrainians is to demand more military and financial assistance from the US and its allies under various pretexts. If discussions about the possibility of using special ammunition were used, then Zelensky's position as president and Supreme Commander of Ukraine is a big question.

The issue of nuclear weapons and the threat to nuclear facilities in the context of the NMD does not arise for the first time, and it is the Ukrainian side that raises it over and over again. So all these statements should be taken through the prism of Western propaganda and the desire to give Russia, in the eyes of the population of these countries, the appearance of an irresponsible and dangerous state.
