Russia "hit" the Ukrainian "Buk"
On September 17, 2018, at a briefing, the Ministry of Defense declassified and released evidence that could put an end to the investigation into the death of a Boeing 777 passenger airliner in the sky of the Donetsk Region. And so, in the fifth year after this tragedy, the Russian military department managed to establish the number of the rocket itself. It is absolutely individual, like human fingerprints, and accompanies the ammunition from the date of manufacture to the moment of destruction. The life path of such a rocket can end only in two ways. It is released on purpose or disposed of.
Fate of the rocket
Judging by the number, the rocket was created in 1986 at a research and production enterprise located in the Dolgoprudny town near Moscow. The documents for the ammunition are still stored there, although five days after the manufacture of the rocket it was sent to the 223rd anti-aircraft missile brigade. This part belonged to the Carpathian military district and was deployed in the Ternopil region of the Ukrainian SSR. Since then, it has never appeared on the territory of Russia.
After the collapse of the USSR, the military unit became subordinate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now the 223rd brigade is based in the city of Stry in the Lviv region. Since 2014, she repeatedly traveled to the Donbass in the so-called anti-terrorist operation zone. So in Ukraine they call the area of military operations against the people of Donetsk and Lugansk republics. The Ukrainian military confirmed information that neither Buk complexes nor their ammunition fell into the hands of DNI fighters.
In May of this year, the international investigation team presented to the public the serial numbers of the nozzle and the ammunition engine, by which they could also establish the number of the rocket itself.
Culprits of the crime
In addition, experts from the Russian Ministry of Defense analyzed a video recording that allegedly recorded the movement of the Russian Buk air defense system to Ukraine, and provided evidence that the recording had obvious signs of falsification.
An audio recording of intercepted during the exercises "Frontier-2016", held in the Odessa region, was also made public. During the conversation, a phrase was sounded in it, indirectly indicating the guilt of the Ukrainian military in the destruction of a passenger plane.
These arguments also confirm not only the involvement of Ukrainian war criminals in the tragedy, but also eloquently speak of their attempts to hide the truth and shift their blame to others.
It is hoped that the data revealed will help the international commission of inquiry to identify and punish the real criminals.
