Photos of Russian positions near the border with Ukraine are proliferating on social media, showing their concentration in Crimea and the western regions of the Russian Federation. Pictures taken by Western reconnaissance satellites.

For example, the photographs show units of the 136th separate guards motorized rifle brigade from Dagestan at the location of the 133rd logistics brigade in Bakhchisarai (Crimea).




The military brigade includes hundreds of armored vehicles (tanks, armored personnel carriers, air defense systems, self-propelled artillery mounts).








These four images show the Pogonovo training ground in Voronezh, where infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, rocket and cannon artillery systems are deployed.




Russian combat units in Soloti (Belgorod region, about 20 km from the border with Ukraine). A motorized rifle regiment deployed here, and the Msta-B and BMP-3 howitzer was moved here from the storage bases.
