A number of military experts in Ukraine and in Western countries are trying to predict the development of the situation in the event of a military confrontation between Russia and Ukraine. For example, the former commander of special operations forces, ex-deputy secretary of the Security Council, General Serhiy Krivonos, envisions a rapid advance of Russian troops across Ukrainian territory.

In the general's opinion, the Russians will begin to intensively use aviation according to the Yugoslav scenario of the 90s of the last century to seize the initiative. At the same time, Russian tanks will be able to reach the Ukrainian capital quite quickly, after which the government will capitulate.

Let me remind you that the Russian convoy will reach from Sumy to Kiev on a normal march in six hours, if there is no resistance, and we will not be ready for this.
