US demands: surrender Donbass, abandon Nord Stream 2, return Ukrainian transit

The tension of recent days and weeks, so carefully whipped up by Washington, has sharply increased, moving from the plane of mutual accusations and "last warnings" into the area of concrete hostile actions. In fact, the start of a new sanctions campaign against the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is a direct declaration of war on our country by the United States and the final break of all public and private agreements with both it and the European allies of the Americans. With Germany - first of all.

To tell the truth, it is not possible to find any intelligible logic in these actions. Apparently, you shouldn't look for it there. There is a feeling that the situation is completely out of control and is developing - rapidly and extremely dangerous under the influence of some insane evil force striving for chaos and destruction for the sake of destruction and chaos itself. Nevertheless, let's try to figure out what is happening at the moment and what the current escalation may result in.

Apotheosis of the absurd

As a matter of fact, the first talk about the need to sharply and, as soon as possible, toughen sanctions pressure on our country was started by the restless Bob Menendez, who heads the US Senate Committee on International Affairs. The American media reported that he and his comrades, it would seem, submitted for the consideration of fellow legislators a corresponding amendment to the US defense budget for 2022, and the scope of the proposed "measures of influence" is quite impressive. This includes sectoral restrictions, rather painful blows to the domestic banking sector, as well as the energy sector, and proscription measures regarding the Russian national debt. Not without, as usual, the sheer absurdity - such as demands "to prohibit entry into the United States of all military and Russian intelligence officials" who "are planning and carrying out a military invasion of Ukraine." Well, this is an inalienable entourage of any such demarche - all the more so, performed by Menendez and other types like him.

Let's note important points: firstly, these measures should have come into effect "in the event of the start of Moscow's military aggression against Kiev," and secondly, their very consideration, as far as we know, was scheduled for "after the holidays." That is, for a period after November 25, when Thanksgiving is celebrated in the United States. It would seem that up to this time it was simply necessary “not to succumb to provocations” so as not to give a reason to support the belligerent initiatives of one of the main Russophobes working on Capitol Hill. And suddenly "something went wrong." Without waiting for the moment when gentlemen, who had tasted enough of the festive turkey, the legislators would give the impending sanctions attack on Russia at least some semblance of legitimacy, the State Department got down to business. And how zealously!

Its head, Anthony Blinken, made a rather unexpected statement on November 22: the United States is now imposing sanctions against the two ships involved in the construction of Nord Stream 2 and the company Transadria Ltd., which apparently belongs to them. Mr. Blinken mentioned the name of only one ship - "Marlin", and as the fault of the company that fell under the restrictions of the company he named only "ties with Russia." Before us is not just sheer nonsense, but some kind of apotheosis of the absurd. Firstly, the construction of the gas pipeline has already been completed and it is completely ready for commissioning (at least, according to the statements of the management company). There is no need for any additional work - on land or at sea, the only question is the certification of this infrastructure project. What does this have to do with the ships and the company that owns them, which is not at all a fact that it really has anything to do with our country ?!

Secondly - where is at least something, albeit in the most distant way resembling the grounds for the introduction of these very sanctions? Despite the hysterical screams that sound today from every American, European, and, of course, Ukrainian iron, nothing like an "invasion" is observed even in the most powerful optics and with the help of the ubiquitous spy satellites! Otherwise, the evidence would have already been replicated by the media around the world. But no ... If we take the words of Blinken himself, spoken by him just a couple of days ago, on November 20, for casus belli, then real doubts arise about the adequacy of this sovereign husband. Then the Secretary of State said that "the most serious concerns in Washington" are caused by the rhetoric on the Ukrainian issue, which is "heard from the representatives of Russia and observed on social networks."

US State Department? Hello to you! From Goebbels ...

I would like to ask: "Are you serious?" Since when was it not even your favorite "highlighted", but someone's gossip and flood on social networks, behind which nobody knows who is behind, became the basis for the imposition of sanctions? Is this the new pinnacle of American democracy? Moreover, in this case it is impossible not to mention the speech of the official representative of the US State Department, Ned Price, made on the same day when it became known about the introduction of restrictions. When a journalist asked him during a press conference a direct question about whether Russia is still preparing an attack on Ukraine or not, the State Department speaker, without blushing at all, answered approximately the following: “We know, of course, about the true intentions of Moscow. can not. But we start from the schemes well known to us, according to which it operates ... "

This, excuse me, what is it ?! Baby talk? Deliberate bullying? A complete profanation of diplomacy and all international relations, as such? There are simply no censorship words to describe here. It is not for nothing that representatives of that domestic organization, which had never taken part in such skirmishes before, have somewhat unexpectedly entered the "exchange of courtesies" between Washington and Moscow, which has become extremely aggravated recently, because they do not exactly correspond to the profile of its activities. We are talking about the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, whose representatives quite officially not only accused the United States diplomatic department of disseminating false information and deliberately whipping up a war psychosis, but also stamped it with the title of “deceitful propaganda mouthpiece”. To complete the picture, the SVR clearly drew a parallel between the current actions of the State Department and the "principles of work" of the infamous Joseph Goebbels.

At the same time, Russian intelligence did not fail to warn about the "extremely dangerous consequences" to which Washington's stubborn adherence to such, contrary to common sense, could lead. To tell the truth, when structures of such a level and of such specificity enter into dives between two states, the case really smells like very serious troubles. Nevertheless, on the other side of the ocean, it was as if they had “bitten the bit” and, headlong, rush forward, point-blank, not noticing the abyss that opened directly along the course. The problem is that every such demarche of the American side is perceived by Kiev as another encouragement to even more active and dangerous actions aimed at provoking a military conflict. It is not without reason that the Foreign Intelligence Service compared the current actions of the United States with those steps that ultimately led to Tbilisi's unleashing an aggressive adventure in 2008.

The freshest example - on November 21, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the "nezalezhnoy" Kirill Budanov (who, by the way, is one of the main distributors of the fake about the "imminent Russian invasion" in his Ukrainian version) announced with great fervor about the use (for the first time in the entire history of the conflict) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass of the American Javelin missile systems. The details are not disclosed, and they are not, in fact, the point. The point is that Kiev demonstratively spits on all the agreements on the armistice, and even on the "Minsk agreements" as such, demonstrating its readiness to act the further, the more aggressively and without looking back at any "papers" there. It is clear that only transatlantic “allies” could instill in him such a suicidal “prowess”. But why?

At the same time, one of the most frightening moments remains Washington's sudden abandonment of the course of using Nord Stream 2 as a tool for blackmailing Moscow in many issues, and in the Ukrainian one in the first place. Many experts, both foreign and domestic, agreed that the Kremlin will show the maximum patience given to it from above, doing everything possible to ensure that the timely launch of this most important project is not only disrupted, but even paused. Judging by the actions of the leadership of our country, this is exactly the way it was - its rhetoric in relation to the increasingly impudent Kiev has recently acquired an increasingly harsh character, but nothing more. The only exception can be considered only the presidential decree on humanitarian aid to Donbass, which turned out to be a very painful "slap in the face" for the "nezalezhnoy". On our part, the hope was in the agreement between the United States and Germany, which the Americans would have to fulfill in order not to lose almost the last allies in Europe.

What's going on now? Actually, there are only two options. Either the leadership of the US State Department has really serious problems of a specific nature and they are doing things there, the consequences of which they do not realize, or ... The United States decided to "go for broke" and win in one fell swoop in all directions: to force Russia to surrender Donbass , to abandon Nord Stream 2, while returning Ukrainian transit in full and on the most humiliating conditions dictated by Kiev. And also once and for all to show the European "partners", who doubted their global hegemony, "who is the boss". In this case, however, the main thing remains completely incomprehensible: on what grounds did Washington imagine that all this would work out. Perhaps the Americans believe that they have some "trump cards up their sleeve", with which they will be able to make the notorious "offer that cannot be refused" to the Russian leadership? We will surely find out how everything is in fact, and already in the very near future.

US demands: surrender Donbass, abandon Nord Stream 2, return Ukrainian transit

    - Well, what is there ... is there ... there is nothing to say about AB ...
    - Germany will "keep" the SP-2; or rather, to keep the SP-2 from launching - as much ... - as the United States tells it; despite the fact that Germany itself is unprofitable ... - And then again and again - Germany will begin to put pressure on Russia with the goal of - "to continue to supply gas through a pipeline through Ukraine" ... - And the rest of the EU - in general - does not even beep ...

In order not to frighten Germany and its auto industry, the States must destroy or drastically weaken the auto industry in Japan and South Korea, otherwise German cars with expensive gas will be much more expensive than Asian cars, which are practically not inferior in quality. And then the car industry in Germany will die without inexpensive gas from Russia. Does Germany agree to this?

The most disgusting thing is that Russia will not utter a word either. The author writes quite rightly that

The United States will force Russia to surrender Donbass, abandon Nord Stream 2, while returning Ukrainian transit in full and on the most humiliating conditions dictated by Kiev.

Well, perhaps SP-2 will be bargained for, for a promise to provide Ukraine with free gas. The defeatist policy, once respected by me as a president, is leading the country to catastrophic consequences.
And we have already surrendered our people in Donbas. Something silence and silence about 37 Russians held captive by the ukrov. They put it on display, expressed regret and forgot. But as always. I did NOT even have the courage to include Ukraine in the list of unfriendly countries and stop supplying it with resources. So imperceptibly and the whole country will be surrendered .... The feeling that the country is ruled by our big business, whose homeland is where the money is. Where is the money? Well you know yourself

do not forget that Russia is still a significant source of oil, gas and many other minerals. For the United States, this is not critical, but for Europe it is. How many nuclear power plants in Europe run on Russian nuclear fuel? In Ukraine? No one except the United States and England can bring matters to serious disagreements with Russia. The only question is to what extent Europe itself can defend its interests.

The Americans want to be rescued, otherwise they will have to save themselves, like during the Second World War, which saved them. That is why the United States is engaged in intimidation and parrotism. But they will not get into the war. There are so many countries that no longer need the United States, because they hold these countries by the throat and from time to time squeeze the throat. The current imperialism led by the United States is a real slavery in the image of ancient Rome. What they are doing in the country in relation to African Americans is like a cry that they are not slave owners, that they are Democrats who look like the Romans, that is, they are putting things in order, the American order. There will be no Rome of those times, and there will be no USA of the present time.

This, excuse me, what is it ?! Baby talk?

It is rather an indistinct foreign policy of Russia, which, having no clear-cut strategy of action in relation to Europe, Asia, the United States and even its closest neighbors, is forced to constantly twitch and fight off the attacks of the United States and its partners as from a pack of yard dogs.
The inability of the current government to build long-term partnerships with closest neighbors and major economic partners in Europe such as Germany, France and Italy led to the fact that they all ended up in the "anti-Russian camp."
The clumsy and uncoordinated actions of the Foreign Ministry and Gazprom do not allow "drag" to the side of Russia more than one European country, despite their almost complete dependence on our oil and gas ...
All the attention of the Kremlin elites is always directed to some secondary problems such as Chechnya or Syria, while the entire Foreign Ministry has a frank "call" for the fact that it is simply "about .... whether" Ukraine.
How was it necessary to manage to get an ardent enemy from the neighboring republic, where almost 100% speak Russian and almost half of the population are Russians?

Several competent US politicians, having invested less than $ 5 billion in the "purchase" of the ruling elites of Ukraine, left our Foreign Ministry and the whole of Russia in the fools, despite the fact that it was Russia that actually invested in the Ukrainian economy over 20 years, according to various estimates, from $ 200 to $ 300 billion for discounts and benefits for energy resources, often to the detriment of their own economic interests.
Those who do not have their own rules are always forced to play by strangers ...

This would inevitably cause a wave of sanctions, primarily affecting our rich Pinocchio, I mean their accounts and real estate over the hill, where our violent heads forge axes, they will also cut us off from the dollar, but it will be in any case, so lose nothing. But for that, our oligarchs will be forced to place and invest all their further income with us, willy-nilly creating new productions, providing us with work, and not someone out there in England or offshore. After the shameful flight from Afghanistan, the seat under Biden staggered a little, and then Russia, for the second time after Obama, punched the US in the nose, not yielding to them on the issue of ensuring equal security. Ukraine crawled onto the agenda, into which the United States swelled so much money from its taxpayers, and Russia took and did not follow the lead of the United States. The chair under Biden staggered even more - after all, the elections to the legislative bodies are on the nose, and things are going very badly for Biden - you can lose the elections, and then the presidential chair. So he strives to make sure that taxpayers do not ask him: “Where is our money, where did you swell it, that America has nothing but shame.
