Two thousand plants are being built in Russia
Having survived the dashing 90s, when more than 80% of the country's entire industry was plundered and then closed, Russia is reviving its former production potential.
In recent years, especially after the imposition of Western sanctions, several thousand new plants and factories were opened in our country. In the next 5 years, according to economists, about 2000 more production capacities will be built in Russia. The total investment is estimated in trillions of rubles.
One of the largest upcoming projects will be the giant Arctic LNG-2 gas liquefaction plant. It will be an order of magnitude more powerful than the already built Yamal-LNG and will require almost 600 billion rubles for its implementation. Almost the same amount will be invested in the LNG plant in the Baltic, the commissioning of which is scheduled for 2020. By 2025, our country may become one of the leaders in terms of the volume of liquefied gas produced.
