Why the celebration of October 14 in Ukraine is the apotheosis of historical lies and absurdity

7

The so-called “Day of defenders and defenders” recently held in the “nezalezhna” is one of the disgusting, disgusting “post-Maidan” “holidays” imposed on the country by a nationalist minority and pro-Western puppets that have seized power in it. This date has no popularity among the broad masses, not only because of its obvious far-fetchedness, "far-fetched", but also because of the political overtones that are too clearly visible in it, with which not all Ukrainians agree. The most sane of them traditionally call October 14 "Bandera's day" and spit on it in the most desperate way. The "celebrations" held since 2014 have invariably resulted in more or less crowded nationalist sabbaths and general drunkenness of the ATO punishers.

However, today we will not talk about that. We will try to understand the question of why this "holiday" is not just wretched and disgusting in its essence, but also completely deceitful. The fact is that even the most ardent supporters have no reason to celebrate anything on this particular day. October 14, transformed by the forces of national radicals and their indulgences politicians from an Orthodox holiday into another “symbol of the nation”, interpreted exclusively in the plane of Russophobia, is perhaps the best proof that all “history” and “ideology” of Ukraine is a fake, fiction and bluff. And she herself is a "state" built on lies and hatred, and has no future.

The Cossacks were driving ...

The first "brick" in the construction of the present vile "holiday" was laid, oddly enough it may seem, by Leonid Kuchma, who is considered by some to this day almost the most "pro-Russian" of the "nezalezhnoy" presidents. Well, in fact, he has never been any friend of our country, but, like all sane Ukrainian leaders, he simply pulled cheap energy resources from it and traded profitably, covering up his selfish interest with idle talk about "brotherhood and cooperation." At the same time, Kuchma, who dreamed of ruling longer than he was allowed under the Constitution, desperately tried to please “both ours and yours,” gaining at least some sympathy in the West of the country. That is why the cultural and ideological spheres, which seemed to the “effective managers” from Dnepropetrovsk (as well as their Donetsk followers) boring, unpromising and not promising big profits, were given over to the nationalists with a light heart. Moreover, then this public still tried to keep within some limits of decency and outside Galicia did not allow themselves openly Russophobic demarches. Again, the "late" Kuchma, apparently, began to be seriously imbued with the rotten ideas of "national self-identification." Why else would he “give birth” to an extremely dubious opus with a more than characteristic title “Ukraine is not Russia”?

Little by little, the malicious myth about a "special historical path" and the exclusivity of the "non-zalezhnoy" was badly needed symbols and heroes. However, who could claim to be such? About glorification and praise of the bloody Bandera executioners and Galician SS men, then no one even dared to give a hint. And here the movement of the “Ukrainian Cossacks”, which has been wandering and seething in the country since the proclamation of “independence” like a wash in a dirty saucepan, came in handy.

As a matter of fact, in this case there was no question of any unified and mass organization. “Cossacks” from “nezalezhnaya” initially had as many fleas as a very unkempt wandering dog: “Ukrainian Cossacks” (not to be confused with “Cossacks of Ukraine”), “United Cossacks”, “Registered Cossacks”, and so on and so forth. This is all clear and reasonable in Russia - the Cossack troops (Donskoye, Kubanskoye and so on) have existed since time immemorial and today the descendants of their warriors are striving to revive their former glory. And the poor fellows from the "nezalezhnaya" still had to smash their heads - who, in fact, should they inherit, what "knights of will"? Those who served the Poles? Turks? Mercenaries in Europe, "famous" for greed, pathological drunkenness, looting and a tendency to betrayal? Or those who, under the leadership of the Polish gentry and the Pretender, went on a campaign against Moscow, gaining a terrible reputation as a gang that managed to surpass the "evil Tatars" in licentiousness and cruelty?

Generally speaking, the Ukrainian Cossacks are historically as “positive” characters as, for example, the corsairs of the Caribbean. No, they definitely helped Britain to strengthen their maritime dominion and break the power of Spain. But no one has erected or is erecting monuments to them there, they do not call them “the pride of the nation”. The social responsibility of one and the other "army" was too low, and they left a too bloody trail on their own. Let's go back, however, to October 14 and the presidential decree. This date was proclaimed by Kuchma "Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks" in 1999, frankly, "from the lantern." The official justification was that on this day Orthodox people celebrate the feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.

What do the Cossacks have to do with it? Some of the Ukrainian "culturgers" managed to find a "tie" in the works of a Frenchman, Jean-Benoit Scherer, in his "epoch-making work" dedicated to the history of Little Russia and the Zaporozhye Cossacks, who allegedly claimed that all of them "were deeply religious people, very They greatly honored the Day of the Intercession and it was on this date that the elections of their elders were appointed. Well, what can you say ... Whether Scherer's foot ever set foot on the Little Russian land is a moot point. As far as we know, for some time this figure worked at the French Embassy in St. Petersburg. Generally speaking, it is not very convenient to stutter about the "reliability" of historical information emanating from the French after they entered into serious encyclopedias "Ivan the Terrible, nicknamed Vasilyevich for his cruelty". "Deep religiosity of the Ukrainian Cossacks" ?! Three ha ha. They wore crosses, of course, and attended churches, at least from time to time. But all this did not prevent them from ravaging the same Orthodox churches and desecrating shrines, to which a person who really has the Lord in his heart would never have raised his hand.

There is so much evidence of the atrocities of the Ukrainian Cossacks against the Orthodox clergy that it is in no way possible to refute them. To this gang, in truth, it was deeply parallel to what to rob and burn - a church, a mosque, a synagogue or an Orthodox church. "Worse than Tartars" - this is what Father wrote about them. Presumably, not without good reason. The "religiosity" of the same Cossacks, as well as other Ukrainian Cossacks, did not in the least prevent them from selling their co-religionists in the slave markets of the then Tatar Crimea. Even Khmelnytsky, who was a "bright spot" in their history, could not win a single battle or battle without the support of the Tatars, with whom he paid not so much with money as with permits to recruit slaves in the Ukrainian lands as much as fit.

Ghost from "kryivka"

In short, the idea of linking the sham and tinsel “day of the Ukrainian Cossacks” with a truly revered and important Orthodox holiday a mile away smacks of natural blasphemy and sacrilege. Especially considering that one of the "prominent figures" of such, Hetman Ivan Mazepa, was anathematized for violating the kissing of the cross and going over to the side of not just a foreign, but a non-faith ruler. The further you go, the more you begin to believe that the date of October 14 was advised to Kuchma by the slippery Galician types that abounded in his entourage, pursuing far-reaching ideological goals. After all, this date was considered in their homeland the most important milestone in the formation of Ukrainian nationalism - the “birthday” of the infamous Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) (an organization banned in Russia), fanatically revered in Western Ukraine. What, nafig, Cossacks, who, if they came to the then former Polish lands of the Galicia territories, then only plunder freely! (The same Khmelnitsky, having laid siege to Lviv, robbed it to the skin. It's a pity, he didn't burn it to the ground ...)

The traps had to pull out the bloody specter of Bandera from the stinking "kriyivka" into the light of day. And by legalizing October 14 as a kind of "national holiday", they took the first significant step towards this. The second stage in the implementation of their plan came under Viktor Yushchenko, who replaced Kuchma as a result of the Orange Maidan. He, being a small-minded puppet of the West, supported the nationalist efforts entirely. That is why, without any hesitation, he gave a decree on October 14, 2006, "On a comprehensive study and objective coverage of the activities of the Ukrainian liberation movement and assistance to the process of national reconciliation."

This is how this date was “tied” to Bandera's “saints” and their disgusting “pantheon”. Let us recall that Yushchenko, in his zeal to please this public, went as far as awarding the title of Hero of Ukraine to Nazi henchmen and executioners Roman Shukhevych and Stepan Bandera, which, by the way, was a gross violation of all Ukrainian laws regarding these titles. Be that as it may, the process launched under him, not just legalization, but glorification of the nationalist rabble, received its further development. Under the "pro-Russian" Yanukovych, if he slowed down, then only slightly. However, we have not yet answered the question: "What does October 14 have to do with the OUN?" This "starting point" was pulled out by Ukrainian "historians", who later grouped themselves into a gang called the "Institute of National Memory", from the purely propaganda writings of the Bandera themselves. Allegedly in 1947, it was on this day that Shukhevych issued a certain "festive order for the fifth anniversary of the UPA", after which October 14 was officially considered the day of the creation of this bloody gang. Is this true? Not in the least!

On the one hand, militant groups of nationalists were created much earlier - from about the end of the 20s, when they were finally kicked out of the territory of Soviet Ukraine. But it was not the Banderaites who were doing this then, but other similar ghouls - the last of Petliura. As for Shukhevych, he himself later admitted (and in print) that his comrades-in-arms took up arms as early as 1943. And this is quite natural, because before that they quite regularly served their masters - the Nazis.

When the military defeat of the Third Reich became only a matter of time, this pack moved on to "independent armed struggle" - seeing the Red Army, the NKVD, the Soviet government and those compatriots who supported it as their enemies. Well, and also the Poles, whom the Bandera supporters mucked and killed in huge numbers. Subsequently, Shukhevych “changed his shoes” about 1942 solely in order to put into circulation the false stories that the UPA de “fought the Germans”, which in reality, of course, was not even close. Well, and the feast of the Intercession of the Virgin, he, like every pseudo-religious Westerner who pretends to be a "believer", added for beauty and greater importance. Thus, in fact, on October 14, 2014, at the suggestion of the same Institute of National Remembrance, proclaimed by Petro Poroshenko “Defender's Day”, should be considered an absolutely empty, far-fetched date, taken, as they say, “from the ceiling”. But this is completely natural! Military holidays are a specific thing.

In theory, such a status could be assigned to any date on which the army celebrating it won some glorious victory, showed massive heroism, and stood up to defend its Fatherland. But the fact of the matter is that nothing like this can be found in the daytime with fire in the history of the "Ukrainian Cossacks", which Kuchma commanded to be honored "for merits in establishing Ukrainian statehood" (despite the fact that the only real result of the hetmans' activity was the period of , bearing the eloquent name "Ruin"). And, even more so, in the list of heinous crimes of the bloody Bandera pack of Nazi minions and executioners of their people! Continuous rout, defeat, mutual massacre and betrayal. Dirt, blood and shame.

Well, and there is nothing to say about the modern APU. What should they celebrate? Debaltseve "cauldron"? Or Ilovaisky? An army that has sunk to the status of punishers, obedient henchmen of foreign warriors, proudly marching through the capital with the view of its masters - and not without the most compelling reasons. All that remains is to invent false "dates" and talk about "succession" from Hitler's lackeys. Here, at least, word and deed do not differ. This year, the "holiday" was slightly "adjusted" - again, at the behest of the West. The “defenders” were also added to the “defenders”. Well, what about “gender values”! President Zelensky, speaking on this occasion, issued a phrase worthy of taking "in the annals" a place next to the famous quote from Klitschko, suffering from linguistic cretinism - "not just everything." It sounded like this: “Not all defenders of Ukraine are men, and not all men are defenders. Not all defenders are Ukrainians, and not all Ukrainians are defenders ... ”The clown caught up with the boxer in tongue-tied language, which, however, is not so important. What a "country", such are "holidays", "heroes", presidents and mayors. Alas, we still have to watch this ugly theater of the absurd. Some time...

There is a classical process of the formation of the Ukrainian nation from the legacy of the Polish-Lithuanian speech of the postpolita, tsarist Russia and the Auto-Hungarian empire, the German and Romanian occupation, the recent Soviet past, through the creation of their own Ukrainian history and the creation of national heroes, the state language and its translation into the Latin alphabet. All the same took place in all post-Soviet state formations without exception, including the Russian Federation, because the ruling class needs to erase from the consciousness of the population the Soviet ideology of equality and brotherhood, internationalism and class solidarity, replacing them with nationalism and on this basis to unite the population, and the exploitation of people by people and their to raise buying and selling to the rank of market relations.

Only do not drag the Russian Federation here. About two hundred nations and nationalities live in Russia, the ideas of nationalism will never take root, but can only split society and the country. The difference between Russia and Ukraine is precisely in the equality of all peoples inhabiting its territory, in friendship and respect for culture, faith and national traditions. Russia is a family of peoples, they are all different, but all are equal! And any other ideology that puts only one nation on top is doomed to failure. Russia was created to unite all peoples under its wing. So it was, so it is and so it will be!

According to a number of scientists, the events of the holiday describe what happened to the squads of the Russian princes-Varangians Askold and Dir. The well-known Church historian Anton Kartashov cites the text of Patriarch Photius, who chronologically confirms that the events could have taken place precisely in 866, which means that it was the Russians who were the attackers,

So, Kiev celebrates on October 14 the defeat in the war of the founders (or the first princes) of the city of Askold and Dir. Maybe that's why they lost to Rurik because the Lord took him under His protection? Thus, for the entire Ukrainian army, which took this day as its foundation, the defeat of its founders was laid on the holiday, predicting further defeats of their army from the Lord's forces. Perhaps that is why the OUN lost to the Soviet Union. What do you call the ship ...

This is what the modern so-called. Ukraine. A bunch of nonhumans, with ancestors traitors and policemen, invented false stories and scum-heroes. This is obvious and understandable ... Next what? Sooner or later Russia must (justice is calling!) To stop this. I repeat, what next?
