Instead of a "green revolution", the world expects a large-scale energy crisis

6

Before our eyes, something unimaginable is happening: instead of the "global green revolution", the need for which has been so long been repeated by the adherents of the "ecological reorganization" of human civilization, who have recently gained tremendous strength, the times are coming when states and whole parts of the world will begin to tear throats to each other for an extra barrel of oil, a cubic meter of gas, a ton of coal. However, what are the "superfluous" there ?! As it turned out, all these “dirty”, “harmful” and “cruelly killing” our planet fossil energy carriers are still vital to humanity, as before.

Having played in "decarbonization", "reduction of harmful emissions" and other similar projections, in no way initially conforming to economic realities, the "world community" has managed to completely slap the onset of the global energy crisis, perhaps unparalleled in recent history. It is absolutely impossible to blame Russia in general and the "evil" Gazprom in particular for what is happening, even with the most ardent desire and incredibly rich imagination. Something completely different is happening in the world, which does not fit into the standard paradigm about the "intrigues of the Kremlin."

The disaster to be expected

Gas on European exchanges again costs a thousand dollars per thousand cubic meters. The price of a barrel of oil is flying like a spring bird to $ 80, not planning to stay at this mark for a long time and clearly intending to "jump" to a hundred, or even higher. What else do we have there? Oh yes, coal. In the Old World, $ 200 is already demanded for its ton, but this is not certain - exchange quotations for energy carriers these days are changing faster than the weather in March and by no means downward. And this, forgive me for the terrible banality, is only "flowers". Some people promise that the "berries" will be simply mind-blowing. The financiers from Citigroup Inc., who seriously predict that in the event of a really cold winter, the price of "blue fuel" could reach 3 thousand dollars per thousand cubic meters, do not need to click on the orderlies with shirts of a specific cut - they listen to them with bated breath, let even muttering utter obscenities through teeth.

What began as a more or less ordinary price rally, promoted by stock speculators, is increasingly beginning to take the shape of a crisis of catastrophic proportions. Europe, where enterprises have already stopped and energy companies go bankrupt one after another, has become simply the first region in the world to fully experience the looming "ninth wave" of problems. Next in line are Asia, North and South America. The next step is the whole world. And the point here is not at all that someone in it "turns the valve" on their pipelines supplying energy resources for export, or tries in other similar ways to create a rush of demand in order to drive up the prices of oil, gas and coal literally to the skies. Humanity is faced with yet another man-made disaster, which it has created for itself.

The most remarkable thing is that warnings about the prospect of the onset of the most severe "energy hunger", during which the shortage of energy resources will naturally be accompanied by their incredible rise in prices, began to sound as soon as world leaders announced their "Napoleonic" plans for the "green revolution". Many experts asserted that the terms and volumes indicated in all these projects are voluntarism and a utopia of the purest water. Nevertheless, the adherents of "ecological purity" continued to deduce in a harmonious chorus: "We will destroy the entire hydrocarbon world to the core ..." The stage "and then" came a little earlier than predicted, but its outlines and signs are exactly those that were warned about. A classic example - the current troubles of one of the leaders of the "green revolution", Great Britain.

Not long ago, the local sirs enthusiastically reported about the almost complete rejection of coal-fired power generation: "Brought up to 3% and continue to decline!" However, it was worth for a while to establish absolute calm and all the wind farms on the island turned into useless trash. For this misfortune, another one arrived in time - unable to withstand the voltage surges, the interconnector with the mainland burned out - the very cable through which the sissy Englishmen received electricity from continental Europe. And now Britain's national grid operator (ESO) is begging to squeeze the best out of the available capacity of the owners of the last three remaining "on-the-fly" coal-fired power plants in North Yorkshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. And the government hastily pledges over £ 85 million to keep them running. Well, gentlemen, how do you like the fruits of "decarbonization"?

You are going the wrong way, comrades!

Roughly the same situation is observed on the other side of the Atlantic - in the United States. There are no longer any calls, but demands to immediately abolish all the "stupid" restrictions and limits on the use of fossil fuels, and some are talking about the introduction of a state of emergency in the energy sector - electricity is very tight, and no wind turbines with solar panels do not help. The Ministry of Energy is besieged by representatives of the industrial lobby, acting under the slogan: "Not a drop of LNG for export!" By yourself, you see, soon there will be nothing to burn. The cunning shale producers are in no hurry to print suspended wells in fear of a new "collapse" of the market - even better less, but more profitable. So far, the price of "blue fuel" in the United States has not reached European or Asian indicators, but it is the highest since 2014, and gas reserves are estimated as the lowest over the past 5 years. So if someone in the EU is counting on generous supplies of LNG from overseas, then, at least for the near foreseeable future, he can say goodbye to his hopes and go to an agreement with Gazprom.

Market analysts predict that not today or tomorrow between Europe, Asia, South America (where energy problems have also reached unprecedented levels) and the Middle East, a real war over gas supplies will unfold. However, this most likely applies to oil to the fullest, since power plants, which do not get gas or coal, are forced to burn fuel oil. And automobile fuel, you know, is not in surplus either - in Britain, not so long ago, at gas stations, it came to hand-to-hand combat.

It would seem that under the current conditions, the "hour of glory" should have come for "green energy". She, having trampled the despicable hydrocarbons, in theory, could well appear in the shining halo of the "savior of mankind". However, nothing like this has happened and will not happen in the future. Rather, on the contrary, the most bitter fruits of their desire to follow fashion trends are being reaped today by those states that have decided to break out into the vanguard of world “decarbonization”. Surprisingly, this cup did not pass this cup and China. Presumably, the contemptuous joke with the authorities of the Celestial Empire was played by their eternal striving, not by washing, but by crook, to achieve reckoning among the "decent" members of the "world community." Well, or a complete unwillingness to pay "hydrocarbon", "methane" and other taxes and duties on all the colossal volumes of their own exports.

One way or another, in Beijing, as we all remember, they also announced their firm intention to "decarbonize" almost completely by 2060. No sooner said than done. China is not for you khukhry-mukhry, there is power there. And she immediately took the most "draconian" methods to pursue an "environmentally correct" course. But it all turned out in the end sideways. The terrible power shortage is forcing ordinary Chinese to sit in the dark, and even not be able to enjoy all the benefits of civilization, even if there is voltage in the network - the use of microwaves, air conditioners and boilers in some provinces has been severely banned. There is nothing to say about what a "beneficial" effect such a situation has on the super-powerful Chinese industry. Enterprises reduce their production volumes, or even stop completely. So far, this "shines" on Beijing a decrease in annual GDP growth by 1% in the third quarter of this year, but some are already talking about a loss of 2%.

It can be assumed that the Great Helmsman, who dreamed of the industrialization of the Celestial Empire, seeing what is happening there now, would exclaim in his hearts: "You are going the wrong way, comrades!" It is quite possible that the country's leadership, faced with economic losses, before which the harm from all US sanctions and duties, taken together, pales, will be forced to rethink somewhat both the “green course” as a whole and the commitments undertaken within the framework of such commitment. It is more than likely that the rest of the world will ponder over a similar dilemma: “decarbonize” and go broke, or use traditional energy sources and live a normal life. The coronavirus pandemic has dealt too devastating a blow to the global economy to now finish it off with dubious experiments with a complete rejection of fossil fuels. The current energy crisis, which is not that far from over, but, most likely, is still in the very initial stage, has extremely convincingly proved that mankind is categorically not ready for a complete and simultaneous refusal to use all hydrocarbons. And it is unlikely to be ready during the life of the next generations.

Just yesterday, September 28, a long-term forecast for the World Oil Outlook, prepared by specialists from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OECD), was released. In accordance with it, "black gold" will remain the most demanded type of fuel at least until 2045 (the organization's analysts simply did not look further). World demand for oil over the specified period will grow to more than 108 million barrels per day. We will see what will happen next. So far, we can say with almost complete certainty that a rapid "green revolution" is unlikely to take place before our eyes. Moreover, for every attempt to “force events” in this direction, the world will inevitably pay with new fuel and energy crises.

If the world is ruled by Greta Thunberg, Downs and Diotes, then one should not be surprised at the crisis.

Don't screw up Greta, she breastfeeds the boy
Well, maybe a mixture, but not the essence

But if we cover the sugar from the sea to the Niger river with solar panels, then there will be petarity on two planets.
Of course the question is, what if samum?
And there is also a solution. How many Islamist terrorists are there idle around the Sahel in Toyotas?
Everyone has a tip, sweep a little sandbag, and a Kalash can be behind the back, everyone's clear on the UN salary ...

One gets the impression that all this "Green insanity" was created, not just by hand, but also intentionally ... Apparently, someone really needs this, because the fact that all this "green hysteria" is at this point in time very premature , literate people probably knew ... Perhaps they wanted to blackmail energy suppliers in order to bring down the price or impose their own conditions, or perhaps they wanted to arrange a redivision of the world (economic, political or whatever) and for this they need a crisis and chaos ... In general, let now "eat - do not crap!"

Inflation provided by the USA. In vain they, perhaps, throw greens. The huge money supply from the Fed just covers the world. The neo-slavery system from the United States is the foundation of democracy. There has been no use for blacks for a long time. Now the whole world hawala green candy wrappers and at the same time is surprised that prices are rising.

To pump the same massively received electricity, it will be necessary to turn all deposits of copper, aluminum and iron into wires, poles, and heat the Sahara with the heat of wires, losing up to 20% of energy at these planetary distances. Joked, and that's enough. The energy efficiency of the photo panels is less than 20%. This is NOT the efficiency of energy generation, which itself cannot be more than 30%. This is the total operating time for generating electrics in days, taking into account clogging by dust, fog and other non-light effects. For a collective farm dairy farm, as an uninterrupted source, with all the necessary clamps, it would be nice. But talking about megawatt systems is nonsense.

There will be no energy crisis. There have always been people in the world who are capable of solving any "unsolvable" problem - inventors. You just need to study the inventions created by them and implement them, not store them on the shelves.
