The main mistake after the tragedy in Perm. How society itself creates antiheroes

7

In truth, I intended to refrain from participating in the discussion of the currently extremely popular topic of the shooting of students at the Perm National Research University, which was organized by a freshman of this university on September 20. And not at all because I have nothing to say about this (just the opposite), but solely because of my unwillingness to participate in the next “blood hype” and “throw logs” into the information “fire”, which would be better not to flare up at all.

Still flipping through news tapes of almost all the media without exception, every day you come across more and more new "discoveries" and "revelations" on the bloody top-topic of recent days that overwhelm them, forcing you to swear first through clenched teeth, and then in a full voice. Ultimately, this forces us to express our opinion - but not so much about the tragedy in Perm, but about the actions that are being taken today to repeat it in the future.

The conversation is not about that

Having visited the scene of the tragedy and personally communicated with the victims and its witnesses, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, subsequently gave a very extensive interview, in which the main attention was paid to the causes and origins of egregious cases like the Perm one. In principle, if not all of his conclusions and recommendations, then the absolute majority of them are quite sound and very appropriate. The head of the Investigative Committee accuses of pushing young people to violence social networks, splashing blood from television and cinema screens, fooling viewers of talk shows, and, of course, primarily "computer games cultivating cruelty." In his opinion, “children need to be pulled out of the Internet” before it is too late. Golden words, absolutely correct slogans and appeals, but how feasible are they in reality? Pulling today's child or adolescent out of the World Wide Web is about as easy as teaching him, say, to fly. Restricting access to harmful content, strict censorship?

Also speaking out on this matter, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, in his usual cautious manner, called the problem "a reason for serious discussion." At the same time, it is clear to anyone today that it is practically impossible to “cut off” minors from the flow of information that they absolutely should not receive. Well, unless, of course, we turn to the experience of our North Korean comrades or something else like that. How else would you order to “comb one size fits all” the entire information space, in which it is often extremely difficult to separate the grains from the chaff. The simplest example: no violence at all? This means that there should not be films about the Great Patriotic War either, if you follow the letter of this principle meticulously and stupidly.

The question in this case is rather not what the viewer sees with a psyche and a system of values that are not yet fully formed due to their small age and life experience, but how exactly they perceive it. And here we, in fact, come to that main, critical and systemic error that is being committed, including right now, in the process of covering the tragedy in Perm. She gave Russia not only another monster, but also a true hero! Not only an example of unmotivated cruelty, but also an example of true courage, the fulfillment of their official and civic duty by police officers who stopped the killer and did not allow him to continue the monstrous hecatomb for the glory of his own ego. However, let's go over the pages of our media, blogs, network resources. What will we see there? "Confessions of a Shooter from Perm ...", "Revelations" of his ex-girlfriend, neighbors, classmates. Well, and, finally, “sentimental” interviews of parents (first of all - mothers), telling how they were “shocked” by what happened and what a “quiet and calm boy” their son was, who took the lives of six people.

"For a snack" offered "thoughtful" reflections of psychologists on a wide range of topics, among which, of course, prevails, the search for hidden reasons why this individual took up arms and went to kill innocent people. Something in the style of "deer molting and its effect on the northern lights." About the younger (by the way, no longer, with which we heartily congratulate him!) Police Lieutenant Konstantin Kalinin, who at the risk of his life stopped the massacre - as a rule, casually, quickly, indistinctly and sparingly. The ratio of the number of publications about him and about the killer is about 1: 100, or even in an even worse proportion. Why is this going on, citizens ?!

We will not create heroes - we will get new killers

Mr. Bastrykin is right, a thousand times right, asserting that adolescents to act insanely are pushed by the fact that "they see how the attackers turn into heroes in the media and social networks." This is exactly what is happening right before our eyes! Sites and pages of newspapers are full of photographs of the bastard, taking delight in taking other people's lives, reprints of his cannibalistic "manifesto" and extensive quotes from it. Come to your senses! What do you do if you do not create a new object for worship and imitation for people like him with dislocated brains? Nowadays, it is fashionable in certain circles to scold the Soviet Union, including for the fact that the acts and personalities of such monsters were “hushed up” in it. With publicity, you know, it was really bad then. Let's ask ourselves, frankly, how much did the Soviet people lose from the absence of an interview with, say, Andrei Chikatilo's relatives in Izvestia or Trud? Or even with him? Oblivion, complete and eternal - this is what those hungry for the "glory of Herostratus" obtained on blood should expect, and only that.

The details of their lives and the dislocations of a sick psyche are material for the work of law enforcement officers and psychologists of a narrow profile, and not for replication and savoring in the information space. Don't want our children to inherit murderers? So let's give them worthy role models - good, life generously provides such an opportunity. The actions of police officers Konstantin Kalinin and Vladimir Makarov are a perfect example. However, at the moment, alas, almost nothing is being done to turn them into national heroes. But they deserve it to the fullest. If someone doubts this, trying to reduce the situation to the fact that the police “were just doing their job,” then they are fundamentally mistaken.

Let's start with the fact that both Makarov and Kalinin are employees of the Road Patrol Service. That is, those who are in no way intended to detain a maddened maniac with a firearm in their hands - both because of their official duties and in terms of their training and equipment. Following the letter of the instructions, they actually would not have to ask for trouble, but quickly call for help from special forces, "Rosgvardia" or someone else. Fighters, protected by body armor, bulletproof shields and helmets, with automatic and sniper weapons, "sharpened" for the neutralization of terrorists. And before their arrival - "to monitor and control the situation." As a maximum, try to organize the evacuation of victims and potential victims.

Nevertheless, Kalinin moved forward, knowing full well that every next step could be his last. So it is, in principle, and should have happened - after all, the killer, seeing the policeman, opened fire on him. But, as it turned out, our hero shot much better. Generally speaking, reading about how the most ordinary DPSnik first flew two hundred meters in a minute, and then won a fire duel, while also managing not to lay the enemy in place, but to leave him alive, you begin to think that with combat training things are not so bad in Russian law enforcement. To count how many lives Konstantin Kalinin saved is a thankless task. The gunman would plant on each oncoming buckshot as long as there were enough cartridges, and judging by the photographs, he had an abundance of them. Dozens of people? A hundred? Who cares. The fact is that the junior lieutenant was ready to redeem them from death at the cost of his own life. Everything else is verbal husk and speculation of non-professionals

Russian minutes and European minutes and a half

The only thing that pleases is how correctly and promptly the leadership of not only the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, but also our state reacted to the actions of Kalinin and Makarov. Early ranks (lieutenant and captain, respectively), the insignia "For service to the law" - that's all right. However, government awards that almost immediately "found" the heroes are an even fairer assessment of their actions. The Order of Courage was awarded to Konstantin Kalinin and the medal "For Distinction in Maintaining Public Order" - Vladimir Makarov. By the way, when discussing this news among the commentators, there really were those who are trying to assert that there was nothing to reward for in this case. Just think - "they neutralized a mad child, not a terrorist or an experienced recidivist." It would be because of what to raise the noise! The authors of such posts would really like to recommend placing their own forehead under the 12-gauge barrel in the hands of a "child" who just before that laid down six of them on the spot and injured several dozen people. It will be interesting to know about the experienced sensations ...

Alas, the problem of our society is precisely that there are too many individuals in it who try to question, if not ridicule, any act of which they themselves are completely incapable. And here, by the way, something else. In conclusion, I cannot deny myself the pleasure of "poking my nose" all those who simply adore comparing everything that happens in the "dull Rashka" with the "enlightened West" - to the great triumph of the latter, of course. The events in Perm definitely have a number of analogues both in the United States and in Europe, but I would like to focus specifically on one of them.

Of course, it would not be entirely correct to equate the execution at the Perm State National Research University with the horrific massacre committed in pastoral Norway 10 years ago, in the summer of 2011 by Andres Breivik. And the motives are different, and the personality of the criminals. But, nevertheless, there are more than enough parallels and coincidences. In both cases, the victims were young people. Both massacres were carried out by individuals and were preceded by careful planning and preparation. Both criminals did not serve in the army and did not have any special training. And, by the way, when committing these crimes, completely legal weapons were used, acquired on legal grounds. In terms of the number of victims and the scale of destruction, Breivik far surpassed the "Perm shooter" - as a result of the explosion in the government quarter in Oslo, only seven people were killed, but on the tiny island of Uteya he shot seven dozen of them.

These deaths could have been much less. They, in fact, might not exist at all - if the Norwegian police and special services acted even a little more professionally. The issue of blocking the government block for the entry of vehicles precisely for the purpose of ensuring security was considered long before the terrorist attack, but somehow everyone did not get around. Here Breivik drove a rented minibus filled with explosives. By the way, he also bought the components for its manufacture quite openly - he did not pay attention.

But the main thing is different - the police got to the island located 35 kilometers from the explosion site for an hour and a half after receiving reports of shooting raging there! For some reason, the helicopter at her disposal was not used - they arrived slowly, by cars. And not patrolmen, of course (they did not get there), but an anti-terrorist special team. Breivik surrendered to them himself, barely seeing ... Subsequently, the police were forced ... to make an official apology for their "slowness"! That was the end of it. Nobody bore real responsibility - not a single head flew, not a single shoulder strap. By the way, the prime minister of Norway at that time was Jens Stoltenberg, the one who now seems to be responsible for the security of all of Europe.

We, even with the most ardent desire, are unlikely to be able to pull children, adolescents, youth out of the long-standing all-pervading and global information network. All we can and must do is to fill it as widely as possible with stories about people whom Russia has every reason to be proud of, and not endless "rehearsals" of details about those who are degenerates for its people.

    Really.
By the way, I remembered how on the website "Voennoye Obozreniye" there was an article about how they detained a group in the "Network" case who were planning something similar, so there were those who were talking about the fact that they were children, about some claims to social justice, the need for a revolution etc.

Well, yes, yes, of course. The Internet, social networks, movies, etc., and especially games, are to blame for everything. Well, yes. And all this makes people crazy, mentally unhealthy, and so on. Again, the shooter in Perm was mentally ill, and all of the above in the quote has nothing to do with it. Moreover, he was a quiet one, and a quiet one, as a rule, is not like everyone else, does not have friends and girlfriends, a personal life, and even as they say in this case, devils are found in a still pool. And this is just about the Perm shooter. Neither the Internet, but social networks, nor films, nor everything else, including games, has nothing to do with it. On a healthy person, especially mentally, this does not affect in any way and he does not immediately run, grabbing something, kill, rape, and so on.

So there is no need to blame what is in fact not to blame, for this is a transfusion from empty to empty, wishful thinking and search for the extreme. The problem was initially in the person, in his head, in his psyche, in his life, etc. etc.

Everything is correct. It's just that neither Bastrykin nor Necropny needs to look for the real reasons for what happened. The former needs to close the case as soon as possible, at the same time coming up with an excuse for the subsequent "tightening the screws", and the latter - to arouse the not very quick-witted hurray-patriots with another "threat from the West", while earning money on bread with a hastily written article.

    Media and create a halo.
How many articles were there on this site alone?

And to compare, for example, with "33 heroes" in Belarus. As needed - so in the media "we will take revenge on the father."
How they released - no one remembered the service people. Pure negative PR.

The reason for "freezing" on the Internet is an overabundance of free time. Hence the question - what or how to fill it in in order to distract people from their useless pastime on the Internet.
The simplest, but ineffective option is restricting access as in the PRC and censorship.
The most effective is work, any socially useful employment, but any work involves the application of efforts and the infringement of other interests, and no one will agree to this.
The most realistic option is state control of the arms business. For this, it is necessary to change the existing order of the arms trade, so as not to obstruct the incomes of manufacturers, arms dealers and not to restrict access to weapons for those who like to shoot.
For this, it is only necessary to prohibit the "street" trade in weapons and create a network of amateur shooting clubs like in the United States, a mechanism for their licensing and insurance, in which anyone can sign up and, under the supervision of the club's staff, shoot from any type of weapon - small guns, different pistols brands or machine gun "Kord" for a variety of stationary and moving targets.
This approach meets the goals and objectives of the state TRP program, reduces bureaucracy and does not limit the arms trade and business of club owners, simplifies control and removes responsibility from the state for possible incidents.

The first wish is always true, dear author. It would be better not to write.

In his opinion, "children need to be pulled out of the Internet" before it is too late. Golden words, absolutely correct slogans and appeals,

These are the words of an absolute dilettante who, because of his ignorance of the materiel, simply said the first thing that came across. In Japan, violence "from TV screens and computer games cultivating cruelty" is pouring in such a river that Russia is, in this respect, a simple paradise in comparison with it. And yet, the level of violent crime in Japan is many times lower than in Russia.
