Economist predicted an imminent refusal of Russia from gas supplies for the EU chemical industry

21

Russia may soon refuse to supply natural gas to the chemical industry of the European Union. Russian economist Mikhail Khazin announced this on the air of the YouTube channel "Sputnik in Russian", while explaining why prices for "blue fuel" are growing in Europe.

Khazin explained that the EU has relied on renewable energy sources - sun and wind, and now Europeans are suffering from rising prices for energy raw materials and electricity. At the same time, he clarified that huge gas chemical and petrochemical plants are being built in the Russian Federation, which will need a lot of raw materials for their work.

We will soon stop supplying them with gas, which is now supplied as a chemical raw material. Do you want to make products from it? Buy these products from us ... "So we have our own factories" ... Okay, supply them with your gas. Don't have gas? Close factories

- said the expert, predicting the possible course of events.

Khazin stressed that Moscow will do in this matter as Beijing does with rare earth elements. China has created a whole industry based on the extraction of rare earths. Now the PRC sells its products all over the world and, by dumping, forced competitors to close their factories.

And now China is starting to blackmail. What's stopping us? Our factories are already under construction. Europe with its foolishness will very soon find itself in a difficult position. They do not want to be friends, they impose sanctions. What can we do?

Khazin summed up.

    Sir expert!
Your level does not allow you to assess the consequences of the action you are writing about. Do you know that all Russian engineering products are based on polymer raw materials from Europe, which are mainly produced from Russian gas. Starting from the bumper of your car (if it is not an American one) to the fountain pen you write with is made from Russian gas.
    Best regards,
    Eugene

I assure you, the level of this person is very high. And it allows you to assess the very long-term consequences.
And the consequences of the actions described in the video are quite obvious.
Mikhail Leonidovich most likely meant putting pressure on countries that are not loyal to Russia.
This begins cutting the world into currency zones and Putin makes it clear who is where the boss.
You can simply select one pipe and supply gas through it in its original form for our friendly Germany. The rest will get by with methane. And all chemical production is geared towards high molecular weight fractions of natural gas. Such factories are already being created (some have already been created) and the replacement of imported polymers will be very quick. There is experience in building such factories.
It is worth paying attention to the route SP2. It starts in Ust Luga. And there such a plant has been under construction for several years.
It remains to build in Vyborg (SP1) and on the routes in front of UkroGTS and Yamal - Europe. Or block one of these routes.

Well, the Russian gas price stranglehold on Europe will only speed up Europe's transition to renewable energy sources. Now they will know what awaits them if they are dependent on Russia .. Now they will suffer, but they will stop "pulling the rubber" further and will intensify the transition to renewable energy sources. Then they will definitely not need Russian gas.

What kind of suffocation is this? Is Nord Stream ready? Ready. Let them load it in full, without restrictions, and it will be light and warm. But the EU prefers to blackmail Gazprom by inventing new rules / restrictions on gas pumping. Naturally, Gazprom responds to European blackmail with its own blackmail. How do you want?

We are talking about using gas to synthesize basic chemical compounds, Oslan, and you are writing about using gas as an energy source. These are two different things.
Let the energy in the EU get where they want, but for the synthesis it will not be possible to use "green" raw materials - it does not exist yet.

The comedian is this Khazin. Well these are billions to live on, do not grieve. They will sell, even if they have to deprive their own.

Nothing funny. Billions Miller knows how to count perfectly. Sales volumes in 2021 - almost record-breaking close to the level of 2018. and certainly more than in 2020. But in 2020. the spot price was at $ 100 and dropped to $ 80. , and this year it quickly exceeded $ 400 and lately has been hovering from 750 to 900. And if you start selling a little more, the price will collapse to $ 400 (which is also not bad).
So Miller's counting billions is fine.
Again, the forceful pressure on Europe is being worked out. They are told who is the boss in the house. With Biden's neutrality. He has his own interest in this (more precisely, the bankers whom Biden represents).

Well, yes, it is easy to say that we will have construction of our own industry, including heavy industry (we are just developing and we are still hindered from doing this from the West, and even their "Westernizers" - the sellers are hindering us). Well, now the West is in confusion, in a kind of shock, from the actions of the United States, including the growth of Russophobia, especially in Eastern Europe at the request of the United States. The European Union is now like a cesspool in its actions, as in the famous Russian fable "The Swan, Cancer and the Pike". And therefore, it is necessary, like Khazin, and suggests to throw all the forces into modernization, and more to the creation of our industry. Fortunately, you can still get significant help from the business circles of the same West in the form of financing, since the financial dealers in the United States and the United Kingdom themselves are investing their finances in Russian funds at the present time.

One such plant has already been built, the Amur Gas Processing Plant. On the Power of Siberia, before the border with China. Another, in Ust Luga, has been under construction for several years. And in Ust Luga, for a minute, SP2 starts. Do you feel the trend?

Now, if they studied this problem, they would not have written such blatant nonsense. "Green" or INTERRUPTED energy requires a threefold increase in generating capacity, energy storage, and operating on traditional technologies. At night, in calm, how to melt steel? Let everyone go on day off? How will the railways function? So the batteries. Terawatt power. Or maybe a week or two the wind blows not as it should be, quietly, and then too ..., what makes the wind generators useless? And how to stop a nuclear power plant for a day, in the evening it needs to be started again? But, after all, this is an emergency mode of operation. Thermal. To extinguish boilers, let off steam and in the evening the waterbag again, with the start of generation? These generators CANNOT stop and start several times during the day. So they will be idle? And what about pumping energy between countries? How to organize, draw up contracts, everyone with everyone, after all, there will be tens of thousands of participants?

You wrote everything correctly, but why so abruptly?
By the way, variants are possible (where possible). The USSR left independent Lithuania as a legacy not only of the Ignalina nuclear power plant, which Lithuania (undoubtedly, from a huge mind) smashed at the whistle of the EU. It was (and still is) the Kruonis PSP (pumped storage power plant). And they worked great as a pair.
If there were sane people in the leadership of Lithuania, they would cooperate with Belarus and have cheap energy and money and an even distribution of electricity generation over time (of course, on a share with Belarus). Paired with the Belarusian NPP. Which, by the way, is located to the Kouonis PSP closerthan the Ignalina NPP was located. But the proud Balts preferred to spit with Belarus, to recognize Tikhanovskaya as the president of Belarus, having issued her a presidential certificate. And they lost not only the profit from the Kruonis PSP, but also the transit of Belarusian goods.
So, it is clear that green energy is not about economics and common sense. This is a policy at the behest of the owners. Moreover, the owners are not responsible for the consequences.

Crazy retellings from someone else's only increase the discontent THERE for the actions of Russia HERE. Why the hell to incite readers with threats ... "they will intensify the transition to renewable energy sources. Then they will definitely not need Russian gas." ... So only a complete goof can speak. For one (green) does not cancel the traditional. Well, at least rummaged through the information, which is full here. The supply of raw materials to both the United States and the EU has long had to be conditioned not by the use in military preparations and rigidly, not softer than they, control over all supply chains to the final consumer. And that's practically all.

I watch Khazin carry more and more delirium. They are building "huge" plants and therefore, they say, Russia will not sell gas to the West. Yeah. Gazprom went out of its way to lay pipes to this "west" so that nothing could be pumped through them later. It seems that he didn’t taste at all that a new era of "green control" is coming, and these same Western countries have clearly announced that from 2030 they will stop buying any products manufactured not according to the new environmental standards, that is, using gas. And Russia, with its gas and gasoline economy, finds itself beyond the threshold of this regulation, as unable to comply with the new conditions for the production of products. And where was he (Khazin) going to sell the products produced at the Russian "huge gas and petrochemical plants"? To China?
