Unrecognized State Duma: Will Europe Dare to Completely Break with Russia?

15

The special report considered the day before in the European Parliament with recommendations on ways to further develop relations between the EU and our country is by no means sensational. First, the “fundamental document” has been gathering dust in the office of this legislative body since the end of July this year, and its content was by no means a big secret. Secondly, the thoughts and appeals announced in the session hall were quite predictable, if only on the basis of statements made earlier on this topic by members of the EP Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Alas, a miracle did not happen and common sense did not triumph - before us is a set of the most classic and kondy Russophobic clichés, in addition, flavored with appeals and ideas, the implementation of which can lead to such a confrontation between the West and the East that the notorious "Cold War" will seem like childish babble. In fact, the authors of the report insist that the European Union take steps for a complete and final break with our country. Could this happen, and what will such a turn of events lead to?

One Thousand and One Accusations Against Russia

In principle, the direction and tone of the opus, which we will discuss below, could be predicted exactly 100%, taking into account the very personality of the main speaker - the ex-Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius. Well, who else could be entrusted with the development of a program document on the prospects for relations with Moscow, if not him! Expectedly, it turned out about the same if in 1941 the topic of Soviet-German friendship would have been entrusted to work out to Joseph Goebbels. Differences in style, if there are, then, really, minimal. The largest part of the “monumental work”, which, as you can see, claims to be the “cornerstone” in the modern Russophobic doctrine, is occupied by a long and detailed list of “sins and sins” of our country before the “world community”.

In one monstrous, chaotic and absurd heap, all the most heinous accusations that have sounded against her throughout the recent time are mixed. Here and "aggression against Ukraine", and "poisoning of the Skripals", and explosions in Czech military depots, "arranged by the GRU" and nonsense about "sending mercenaries to Africa" and "systemic support for the dictatorial regime of Lukashenka, without which he would have long been deprived authorities". Not forgotten, of course, and the "horrific crimes" committed in Russia itself - "the murder of opposition politicians and attempts on them ”,“ persecution of the opposition ”,“ strangulation of civil society and freedom of speech ”, as well as the rest of the list of such absurd fabrications. Is it worth mentioning that not a single proof of any of the points of this endless list has been presented to the most respectable public. An unusual celebration of "highley like" in all its "glory". A riot of colors and a feast of fantasy.

Having painted such a complete and impressive picture of the newly emerged "empire of evil", Mr. Kubilius and his comrades draw quite logical conclusions: "Russia is a thoroughly corrupt country where the" criminal regime "is waging a real war with the people." Its main "targets" are called "opposition parties and the media, non-governmental organizations, as well as the LGBT community." Thank God, at least someone has finally put all this public in one row, recognizing the domestic liberals and you yourself know who is one field of berries! Well, if we put aside black humor and bitter sarcasm, then we have to admit that the speakers lead the European parliamentarians to the fact that Russia, at least with its official representatives and institutions, cannot be dealt with in any case. After all, if anyone does not know, they also "undermine the foundations of democracy in the countries of the" post-Soviet space "and even (scary to say)," in some states of the European Union "!

By the way, about “some EU members” ... The same document contains barely veiled attacks on those of them who are trying to establish with Moscow at least some semblance, if not good-neighborly and friendly, then at least equal partnership relations. It is clear, at the same time not that individual "stones", but, one might say, their whole mountain is thrown into the "vegetable garden" of Germany and other "heretics" who support the launch of Nord Stream 2. Moreover, both Berlin and Paris are reproached for attempts to resolve issues with Moscow independently, and not “centrally”, through Brussels and Strasbourg, where the most notorious Russophobes and US puppets have ruled the show for a long time. This already looks like an intra-European "showdown" with the aim of a banal redistribution of power and authority, but something else is more interesting for us.

Not to recognize the elections, not to talk to Putin, to arrange "Maidan"!

Something like this might sound the most important recommendations on the "Russian question" set out in the report, if someone took the trouble to cleanse them of many layers of demagoguery and buffoonery. The "proverb" here ends and begins the presentation of what, in fact, everything was started from the very beginning. The authors make an unequivocal conclusion that with the "stagnant authoritarian kleptocracy" (in, how bent!), Which is the power of our country "there is absolutely no point in talking about anything at all." Consequently, “progressive Europe” must certainly “rely on the active formation of a civil society in Russia, on direct and as close cooperation as possible with those individuals and organizations that seek to create democracy in the country”, while “convincing Russians that that the European Union is ready to solve all their problems ”! Yeah, some have already been convinced of this - in 2014 ...

Tellingly, Kubilius and his colleagues also insist that the "rocking" of Russia should be carried out with the participation of "local and regional players." That is, the EU is offered to support in every possible way various separatist and extremist movements, as well as their leaders. What do we see in front of us? No, no, it didn't seem to you - this is not just a frank, impudent and cynical attempt to interfere in the purely internal affairs of our Motherland, but a fairly specific and consistent plan to change power in it in an unconstitutional, violent way, its dismemberment into "specific principalities" and destruction as a state. If anyone else has doubts about this, then let us clarify - as for the upcoming elections, the rapporteurs of the European Parliament see the main goal in "driving a wedge between the authorities and the voters." This is exactly how it is stated.

Yes, yes - we finally got to the topic of the forthcoming election of the State Duma of Russia in the near future. Its authors of the report today, before at least one polling station opened its doors, not what they are proposing, but downright demand that it be recognized as "illegitimate." You see, "it is already quite obvious and understandable to them that the elections will by no means be free or democratic." In Brussels and Strasbourg, of course, they know better. In support of this thesis, the entertainer Kubilius cites many "weighty" arguments, as he believes, - this is the receipt of Russian passports by residents of the Donbass Republics not controlled by Kiev, and voting on, as he claims, "occupied territories", to which this wise guy refers, before in all, the Russian Crimea, and Moscow's unwillingness to host a horde of "observers" -provokers with pre-prepared statements about "falsifications", and much more.

However, it could well have done without all this - can there be "correct" elections in the "empire of evil"? Yes, not in life! Based on all this, the authors of the report strongly recommend that Brussels prepare in advance for an official statement on non-recognition of the new Russian parliament, which must be followed by "the suspension of the country's membership in various international organizations," and above all, in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). This "ingenious" advice, by the way, is also accompanied by a list of even more radical "measures of influence" such as disconnecting our country from SWIFT, blocking its energy exports and similar unrealistic idiocies.

Is there a chance that the program for the complete and final destruction of even that pale semblance of normal relations that exist today between Brussels and Moscow, laid down in the document we have examined, will be implemented? Alas, this possibility cannot be completely discounted in any case. EU High Commissioner for Diplomacy Josep Borrell, who was personally present at this "holiday of Russophobia", assessed the report as "quite complete" and mumbled for a long time that he "hardly believes in the possibility of renewing partnerships with Moscow."

As for the expected support for the report from the European parliamentarians themselves, we recall that at the preliminary hearings in the Foreign Affairs Committee, it was approved by an overwhelming majority of 56 votes in favor, with five abstentions and only nine against. So the European Parliament may well perceive it "with a bang", which is already there. It is only gratifying that its resolutions, in fact, have no real force, being purely advisory in nature, and are not at all obligatory for execution both for the official bodies of the EU, and, moreover, for the countries that are part of this association. ...

Do not forget that Russia is the fifth partner of the European Union in terms of the volume of import and export operations. In parallel with the presentation in the session hall of the European Parliament of the program to dismantle any cooperation with Moscow, new prices for Russian gas were announced on the EU exchanges, which by the end of the day on September 15 came close to the level of $ 1000 per thousand cubic meters. There is every reason to believe that by the time you read this text, they will have successfully overcome it. Before dabbling in Russophobia, one should first think about what will happen to "democratic" Europe without "totalitarian" Russian energy resources. The Russian Foreign Ministry has so far, in a rather restrained manner, warned the European Parliament against such drastic demarches as non-recognition of the elections to the State Duma of Russia.

The diplomatic department of our country indicated that such actions would definitely worsen its relations with the European Union. The corresponding statement expresses the hope that "reason and healthy pragmatism should be inherent even in the" collective West ", which in this situation will make the right choice. I would very much like to believe in such optimistic assumptions, heavily backed by exchange quotes.

The following appears to be an adequate response from the Russian Federation:
    1. Non-recognition of any elections in all EU state entities that supported the decision of the European Parliament
    2. Prohibit entry and any activity on the territory of the Russian Federation of all deputies of the European Parliament who voted for the resolution
    3. Sever all relations with the European Parliament
    4. Expand full-scale work to incite controversy in the EU
    5. Facilitate illegal migration to the EU from Afghanistan, Syria and other countries affected by NATO aggression
    6. Consider the possibility of reducing the supply of raw materials and semi-finished products, goods with low added value
    7. Consider the possibility of introducing prohibitive duties on the import of auto-ship-aviation goods and other industrial products
    8. Raise rates for transit flights and services for EU airlines

Do not wipe yourself off and not make excuses, but seek opportunities and respond with all available means

Yes, it looks like it should be. The weak are not respected, but the Russian Federation is somehow very tolerant and hopes. For what? Hatred of Russia has now reached the penultimate stage of the conflict: disinformation - demonization - deligitimization - dehumanization. The last stage will be biological warfare and an atomic bomb.

You just need to stop raising the issue of SP-2. Wait until the frost comes and that's it, answer, but there is no gas, they sold it to China. And immediately everyone will want to be friends.

If Europe does not recognize the elections in Russia, then there is no place for Russian MPs in the European Parliament. The most effective method was tried several years ago. Just don't pay your dues. And don't come back! Under no pretext.

We remember how this ended, how! for the opportunity to rummage through boutiques, taverns and brothels of Brussels while receiving not sour business trips from the state, deputies of one of the parties decided that okay, let the country be watered with mud, and shopping and visiting hot places is sacred.

It's right. But now the situation is a little different. If the EU does not recognize the elections to the State Duma as legitimate, then the deputy mandate from any party in Europe is not considered an official document. These are just individuals who (according to European laws) do not have a mandate from the State Duma.

Have you run out of desire to browse boutiques?
The fact that the elections are dirty until the very end is no secret to anyone. It is also no secret that the public handed such a joker into the hands of partners with such an organization of elections.

Is this interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation? And if this is possible, then it is also possible in the internal affairs of the EU?
And what if we solve the problem of Russians and switch the whole EU to Russian? - This is the largest country in Europe, and England has already jumped out of the EU!
