Kazakhstan calls for boycott of everything Russian
Nationalist sentiments are growing on the territory of Kazakhstan, the spokesmen of which consider it necessary to communicate in the country only in the Kazakh language. However, the popular blogger from Kokshetau, Adilzhan Abdugali, urges to go further and is hatching plans for the collapse of the Russian Federation.
Echoing his predecessor Kuat Akhmetov, who organized language patrols in Kazakhstan and left for Ukraine, Abdugali considers the Kazakh language to be the only necessary means of communication between the citizens of the country. The nationalist calls on those who speak Russian to declare a boycott.
Go to the institution, ask in Kazakh, demand in Kazakh, refuse - turn around. That is, where you cannot be served in the state language of Kazakhstan, you don’t need to buy anything, you don’t need to go there.
- calls on Abdugali in his telegram channel.
The blogger's ideas are not limited to the requirement to limit communication in Kazakhstan in Russian. The nationalist dreams of the collapse of Russia, talking about the need to seize Omsk, Tomsk and Orenburg (calling them "Northern Kazakhstan"). In his opinion, part of the territory of the Russian Federation should be taken by the Ukrainians and Finns, and the Kazakhs should "look for friends" and like-minded people among the Buryats, Yakuts, Tuvans and residents of the North Caucasus.
According to political consultant and orientalist Igor Dmitriev, such sentiments in Kazakhstan should not be underestimated. They are not just a bunch of marginalized people with little influence on public opinion. Every year there are more and more such “defenders of everything Kazakh”.
