How Russian S-400 and S-500 will take control of the skies of Eastern Europe

One of the main stumbling blocks in relations between Moscow and Minsk in recent decades has been the issue of the deployment of a Russian military base on the territory of Belarus. "Old Man" denied it in every possible way, pointing out that in the event of a real war, the RF Ministry of Defense already has free access to Belarus.

In reality, for President Lukashenko, the evasion of the deployment of Russian military contingents (we do not take tracking centers into account) was a matter of the country's sovereignty and the possibility of continuing the so-called "multi-vector" policy... However, over the past year, Aleksandr Grigorievich has broken so many plates with the West that Minsk can no longer speak of maintaining de facto neutrality.

The geopolitical situation around Belarus has changed for the worse for her and so much so that President Lukashenko is no longer forced to pretend to be preparing for a joint defense with Russia, but to actually prepare for a war with the North Atlantic Alliance. In any case, the actions of the head of the Republic speak of exactly this.

Russian Aerospace Forces airbase

Due to its geographic location, Belarus is a key point in a possible clash between Russia and NATO over the Kaliningrad region. In the event of an armed conflict, the Western alliance will first of all have to neutralize this Russian exclave, where the Russian Baltic Fleet, equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, is based, and Iskander-M missile systems, capable of blocking most of Europe, are deployed. NATO strategists see neighboring Poland and the Baltic states as a springboard for the seizure or blockade of Kaliningrad. Russia will be forced to use the territory of Belarus in order to send its troops to unblock our westernmost region through Suwalkia.

All these layouts have long been known. The Polish leadership, in turn, offered the United States to host an American armored division, which was supposed to turn into a "shield" in the way of the Russians, fully paying for its presence. This military base could be called "Fort Trump", but the Republican president did not take full advantage of this generous offer. Nevertheless, the Russian Defense Ministry is forced to respond to NATO's growing military activity near its borders. The most adequate response would be the appearance of a Russian airbase in Belarus, which could cut off the strike potential of an American armored division or the armored forces of Poland itself. However, everything rested on the “multi-vector” position of President Lukashenko, who did not want to aggravate relations with European neighbors and tease the pro-Western opposition in his country. But finally, the chairs on which "Old Man" managed to sit at the same time, parted in different directions. A Russian military base in Belarus will de facto appear, but it will be named differently.

Moscow and Minsk agreed to create joint combat training centers, two of which will be located in our country and one in Belarus. So, in Baranovichi, the formation of a squadron of fighters of the 4 ++ Su-30SM generation has begun. The Air Force of the Republic of Belarus already has four such aircraft, and delivery of eight more units is expected. These are highly effective multirole fighters designed for air supremacy. They can destroy both air and ground and sea targets in any weather. The combat radius of the Su30-SM is 1500 kilometers, they are armed with 6 medium-range missiles R-77, R-27R or R-27ER, R-27T or R-27ET, plus 6 R-73 melee missiles, as well as X-35 ... Imagine how much the Russian Defense Ministry's ability to destroy targets on the territory of the NATO bloc will increase. Yes, formally these fighters belong to the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus, but in the event of a war, the command will undoubtedly be carried out from Moscow, and our Russian pilots train Belarusian pilots in Baranovichi.

Russian "Triumph"

Perhaps even more important is the information on the dispatch of Russian S-400 Triumph air defense systems to Belarus. Since things went wrong with "Fort Trump", Warsaw and Washington went along the path of deploying American fifth-generation F-35 fighters in Poland. Strike fist from 32 aircraft, created by Technology stealth poses a rather serious threat to both Belarus and Kaliningrad. The air defense system of our allied republic is represented by the S-300PS anti-aircraft missile systems. They are good, but something newer is desirable against the F-35, like the S-400.

President Lukashenko has been looking closely at our "Triumphs" for a long time, but it comes out painfully expensive if you take them at full cost. And the S-400 alone will not be enough, they will be truly effective as part of an echeloned missile defense system. According to Andrey Boytsov, Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of the Russian Federation, Russia is ready to help Minsk build an effective air defense system:

We are in close contact with our Belarusian colleagues on all issues in the field of military-technical cooperation, and upon receipt of an appropriate request for the supply of S-400 air defense systems and Pantsir-S1 air defense missile systems, such an issue will be worked out as soon as possible.

It is clear that the "Shells" are needed to cover the "Triumphs" themselves in the short range. The "Old Man" clearly wanted the S-400s to go to him on a barter basis or on a netting basis. President Lukashenko spoke directly about the possibility of paying off the transaction with the money saved on the construction of the BelNPP:

There will still be money left. I’m ready to part, it’s now talking about $ 300-500 million. This is a decent amount of military-technical equipment at domestic prices, including the S-400.

Apparently, the parties reached a certain compromise, since it is reported that an echelon with military equipment of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems division of the 210th Air Defense Regiment of the Air and Space Forces of the Russian Federation from the city of Dmitrov in the Moscow Region has arrived near Grodno. "Triumphs" will be located on the territory of the Belarusian 2285th separate radio technical battalion, which is just a few kilometers from the border with Poland. The air defense missile system arrived in Belarus for "training", but it is likely that it will remain there. This can change a lot.

From Belarus "Triumphs" will view neighboring countries to a depth of 600 kilometers. Even the F-35 stealth fighters will not hide from their gaze. This means that several NATO military air bases will find themselves within the S-400's destruction radius (380 kilometers), which radically reduces their strike potential. If, in the future, S-500 air defense systems appear near Grodno, whose combat radius is estimated at 500-600 kilometers, then the sky in Eastern Europe will be under the control of the RF Ministry of Defense.

All these "show-off" with the S-400 will end as soon as NATO settles in Ukraine. That is not what Putin and Shoigu are thinking. Ukraine needs to be dealt with tightly. Up to the Maidan!

The main thing here is not to succeed. as in 1941, when the equipment of the USSR, standing on the borders, was destroyed and fell into the hands of the enemy after a sudden attack by the Germans.

... sudden attacks by the Germans.

Comrade Stalin, as 80 years ago, in his own defense, said that the Germans attacked "suddenly", so his admirers all this time adoringly repeat this "wisdom".

... then the sky in Eastern Europe will be under the control of the RF Ministry of Defense.

This will give practically nothing in terms of a hypothetical defense, since in terms of conventional weapons, the armies of the NATO countries outnumber the armies of the Russian Federation in quantitative terms, and if NATO bases are also deployed in Ukraine, then these rackets will be completely useless.

And in the Moscow region there will no longer be this regiment ... is it planned to replace it? Or will the echeloned defense of Moscow turn into a camouflage net and a pair of inflatable decoys? If you smear butter too thinly, then in the end there will be only bread everywhere.

Another airplane-missile quirk on the "enemy from all sides" theme.
Most of all, the phrase touches:

From Belarus "Triumphs" will view neighboring countries to a depth of 600 kilometers. Even the F-35 stealth fighters will not hide from their gaze.

Do you really think that the F35 will go on the attack with the Luneberg lenses released ??? (Artificially increase the RCS to 11m² so that the aircraft becomes visible to dispatchers and other air traffic participants.) And without them, the C400 will see the F35 only point-blank, at a distance of 32 km. (F22 is even closer.) lol

Well, I am generally "touched" by the general style of your comments. Are you by any chance from the Ukrainian Internet troops?
