"Crimean Platform" - Ukrainian international false start

5

Applying sacramental definitions like the phrase about the grief that gave birth to the mouse to the "constituent summit" of the Crimean Phrase initiative held on August 23 in Kiev would, perhaps, be incorrect. Firstly, the gathering of the characters who have gathered in the Ukrainian capital is clearly not drawn to any "mountain". Is that - on the hill. Mogilny, who rose above the dreams of Vladimir Zelensky to play the title role in a world-class political show. Secondly, what happened as a result does not even turn out to be called a mouse. It's just nothing, empty space.

Once again desiring to become, albeit for a single day, the "center of the universe", Ukraine received only a portion of ridicule and humiliation. And even if she was subjected to them in the best traditions of the "world community" - subtly and somewhere even gracefully, this does not make it easier for anyone in Kiev. Let's try to figure it out - what happened there on August 23 and what the Crimean Platform, born on that day, really turned into?

Lieutenant Zelensky, hand out orders!

Yes, yes - and that was also ... The Ukrainian president considered the arrival of foreign guests with a more or less high status to the fair of his own vanity organized by him such an outstanding act that he immediately awarded some of them with the Orders of Merit, and, contrary to the Order of the Order, immediately the same first degree. This honor was awarded to the President of the European Council Charles Michel, Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis, the presidents of Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Finland and Estonia, the prime ministers of Georgia, Romania, Slovakia and Croatia. Representatives of other countries, who terribly upset the comic "head of state", were left without awards. Still would! Indeed, on the very eve of the "constituent summit", its most significant potential participants planted Zelensky not just a pig, but, one might say, a whole pig farm, suddenly and sharply lowering the status of their envoys for this event. Not only did Frau Merkel categorically refuse to participate in it, apparently having an innate dislike for cheap booths, the promised German Foreign Minister also did not appear.

Federal Energy Minister Peter Altmaier came in his place. Incidentally, the head of the same department, Jennifer Gringholm, also represented the United States. Well, any better than the "head of the transport department" of the United States of unconventional orientation, but still somehow offensive, you must agree. Obviously, such "synchronization" between Washington and Berlin is due to the fact that they are determined to turn Ukraine into a laboratory for conducting "green" experiments in the energy sector - since it will not see Russian gas as its ears.

France and Great Britain (and even their best friends!) Also acted like a pig. Paris instead of the chief diplomat sent the Secretary of Commerce (why would that be?), And the British, who threatened the arrival of Defense Secretary Ben Wallace, confined themselves to some Wendy Morton, acting in the "foreign office" as representative for European and American affairs. By the way, they expected Erdogan himself from Turkey, but he took and sent only a minister to Kiev. Well, even if foreign affairs and "correct" - Mevlut Chavushoglu loudly declared that "Crimea is Ukraine", however, he did not hesitate to clarify that "the return of the peninsula can be proceeded exclusively by peaceful and diplomatic means." Well, yes - the Turks have already tried it in a different way, and more than once. They remember to this day. Generally speaking, the statements of some "dear guests" at the event we are talking about sounded like pure mockery.

For example, the Latvian president blurted out from the rostrum a very “uplifting” and “comforting” phrase for Kiev that his country “had been waiting for liberation from the USSR for half a century”. Obviously, this should be understood as a parting word to the "nezalezhna" to be patient for a century or two? However, this is still nothing in comparison with the speech of the Hungarian president, who, either forgetting where and for what reason he is, or (which is more likely), spit on diplomatic decency and the expectations of the hosts of the summit, instead of "condemning Russian aggression" ... Ukraine, for the fact that its authorities "do not allow the Hungarians in Transcarpathia to teach their children in their native language." Here's to you, grandmother, and the "Crimean Platform". On the other hand, these relatively vivid and memorable reprises somehow brightened up the dull dullness and boringness that reigned at the escheat, strained gathering, where most of the participants "served their number" obviously weighed down by the whole action and their role in it.

God Rogue marks

The vast majority of the summit participants who came from countries that are not "lights of Russophobia", such as Poland or the Baltic states, used extremely balanced and streamlined rhetoric, in fact, without calling for any specific (and even more so, immediate) actions to " de-occupation ", but only chewing the same verbal gum about" violation of international legal norms "," restoration of territorial integrity "," decisive condemnation "and" all-round support "only for the hundred thousandth time. In Moscow, from this empty talking shop, in truth, no one is hot or cold. Yes, Dmitry Peskov called it "an absolutely anti-Russian event, deeply unfriendly to our country." He said everything correctly. This is his position. But Sergei Shoigu is completely calm - no one is going to announce mobilization and alert the troops in Russia, because the gathering of talkers remains a gathering of talkers, even if there are many of them and some of them are endowed with high positions.

Well, in the end, the participants in the "constituent summit" adopted a kind of Declaration in which they "condemn" and "urge", but what is the bottom line? Nothing specific. Not even a single hint of new packages of anti-Russian sanctions, which Kiev so hoped for, starting all this international obscenity. Something like that was spelled out in passing - about the "consideration" of some "further measures of a restrictive nature", but only in the case "if this is required by the actions of Russia." The main thing is the creation in Kiev of the "National Office of the Crimean Platform" and, in theory, its "representations" in the participating countries. This is how many idlers will be employed, and, apparently, on very good salaries! Well, for the sake of this, perhaps, it was worth making a fence.

The constituent documents and the final Declaration clearly and unambiguously state that the "Crimean Platform" is nothing more than a "consulting and coordinating body." That is, in fact, an empty place and another club of chatterboxes, not authorized for anything and meaning absolutely nothing. This was made clear by all serious participants in the summit, who were forced to represent more or less significant states at it. Each of them firmly intends to resolve their issues and problems with Russia independently and in their own interests, and not to spoil relations with Moscow because of Zelensky's “wishes” or any other representative of the Ukrainian “power”. Although the Ukrainian president said that “the de-occupation of Crimea was launched on August 23,” in fact, as they say in sports, the most common false start took place. Nobody thinks to run anywhere. We talked and that's enough.

But Kiev showed itself on the panels (they themselves defined the format of the event!) Of the "Crimean Platform", as they say, in all its glory. Zelensky was delirious that "the last such summit will be held in Crimea, in Yalta, and Russia will put a signature there under the return of the peninsula." No, old Muller from 17 Moments of Spring was right when he advised some people “not to consider themselves a figure equal to Churchill”. Historical parallels in this case are obvious. It is very interesting, who does the presumptuous showman think of himself, declaring, in fact, about the intention to "rewrite" Yalta-1945? However, the record of cynicism on the "platform" was set not by him, but by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal, who began to lament that "Crimea is on the verge of an ecological catastrophe." After the “water blockade” that has lasted for so many years, with the help of which the government of the “non-existent” is trying to crush the inhabitants of the peninsula, it is generally difficult to find a definition for such words. This is not even cynicism, perhaps, but something qualitatively different, even worse.

By the way, only Mustafa Dzhemilev, who once headed the "Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People" (the organization is banned in Russia), spoke at the forum on behalf of the entire multinational people of Crimea. That is, neither Russians nor Ukrainians, of whom 90% lived on the peninsula at the time of its accession to Russia, simply do not exist for Kiev. For the sake of appearance, they could have brought some kind of mummers into the hall - so that they would also be “condemned” and wept about the “occupation”. However, the organizers of a cheap show with a claim to an "international conference" did not think to do anything like that - either they didn’t have enough cleverness, or they didn’t consider it necessary. And so it will do. In this regard, in Ukraine, the question is already being discussed with might and main - what happened on August 23: "Crimean platform" or is it "Crimean Tatar"? No less interest among the people was aroused by the fabulous sum of royalties to the singer Jamala, who, for the fact that she pleased foreign guests with the composition "1944", dedicated to what is understandable, they dumped as much as 300 thousand hryvnias from the state money (about a million rubles.) such a thing and to speak for free, but no.

However, this is what he is - "patriotism" in Ukrainian, manifested exclusively for a solid material reward. What has cost Ukraine, with its far from prosperous the economy and the social sphere, an unnecessary and absolutely useless event, the only meaning of which was to satisfy the hypertrophied ambitions of Vladimir Zelensky and the huge earnings of those who were involved in its organization are not known for certain. However, judging by the above figure, officially confirmed, this booth has cost a lot of money. In this regard, one cannot but recall another story that happened three days before the opening of the "Crimean Platform". In the Ukrainian Kherson, a 50-meter flagpole collapsed, which was built there, as you might guess, to celebrate the Independence Day and cost 8 million hryvnia (more than 22 million rubles). This structure crashed so well that it smashed to pieces a single car - a brand new Lexus of the local official in charge of its construction. "God marks rogue" - this wonderful proverb would not be bad for all those in the "nezalezhnoy" who are trying to erect monuments to their own vanity at someone else's expense. They collapse with ease, and somehow, in the end, some people might not be buried under their debris.

Instead of Krymskaya, it turned out Losino-Ostrovskaya or Krasny Baltiets, which is also typical!
