The most popular Russian multipurpose helicopter will get even better

Serbia plans to purchase two Ka-32 fire-fighting helicopters from Russia. The choice of our rotary-wing aircraft was not accidental, since it significantly surpasses the characteristics of the American Bell helicopter, which is now used by Belgrade.

It should be noted that the purchase of the Ka-32 is the right, and most importantly, a timely step for the republic, since right now a new, even more advanced engine is being created for this helicopter.

Today, the Ka-32 exists in 17 specialized modifications and is successfully operated in 30 countries around the world. However, the most demanded was the fire-fighting version of the rotorcraft.

Initially, the TVZ-117 engines of Ukrainian production were installed on the helicopter. But after the events of 2014, this became impossible, and our engineers created the VK-2500 power plant.

The engine turned out to be good, but with its own nuances. In particular, due to the mechanical control system, the pilot, when transporting heavy loads or extinguishing fires, had to do quite complex manipulations that required the highest qualifications.

The new VK-2500P engine with a digital control system was designed to "make life easier" for the pilots. Today it is considered one of the best in the world. Inexpensive, "tenacious" and easy to maintain, it is installed not only on the Ka-32, but also on the Mi-28NM.

However, domestic engineers did not stop there and decided to improve the best engine to an even higher level. This is how the VK-2500PS-02 appeared.

It differs from its predecessor by the presence of a fully digital control system. All the most difficult work instead of the pilot is now done by automatic equipment. At the same time, the design of the new engine allows its functionality to be maintained even in the event of an unlikely but hypothetically possible failure of the electronics.

With the launch of the VK-2500PS-02 into series, our Ka-32 will undoubtedly become one of the best all-round helicopters in the world. Consequently, Russia should expect a sharp increase in the already considerable demand for this car in the near future.

The most popular helicopter is something similar to the Robinson-44, but for this it is necessary to change the legislation.

And what the hell is not joking, maybe the Serbs will buy the "Most Modern" KA-32, maybe they will pay the money?
