In three months, Russia will launch another module on the ISS

Roscosmos is preparing to launch another module to the International Space Station in November this year. The Prychal nodal module will be docked to the Nauka multipurpose laboratory module docked with the ISS on July 29.

According to the Russian space agency, the corresponding tests of the new module as part of the Progress M-UM transport cargo ship (TGKM) were carried out at the control and test complex of the Energia corporation.

After the necessary tests, the "Prichal" was sent by rail to Baikonur, where further assembly and appropriate pre-flight preparation of the aircraft will take place. The head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin noted that the launch of the module to the station is planned in November. At the same time, all measures to prepare the Prichal for the flight were coordinated with the work schedule of the ISS Russian segment.

Rogozin also added that Prichal will improve technological the possibility of docking of Russian aircraft with the International Space Station, including within the framework of the lunar mission of the newest spacecraft "Eagle".

Meanwhile, Roskosmos reported that in the future, the route of the spacecraft flight to the ISS will be shortened in time to about two hours - the ships will be able to fly to the station according to the scheme of one orbit.

But what about the decision not to use the ISS after 2025?

Sending new hardware to the dying station is an attempt to work off the previously received green ones, in advance for the complete set of their part of the ISS? It is impossible to explain otherwise. The STAR needs to be fucking undocked, otherwise it will ruin not only our segment, but everything else.

It looks like no "2025 undocking" will be extended until at least 2030.
Apparently this is a horror story for negotiations with partners.
The Russian segment of the station will obviously grow, and it is possible that the "leaky" module will be replaced.
The prospects for ROSS are shrouded in fog and the terms are "shifting to the right."

"Loot" is laundered! Without deciding what will happen to the ISS completely, only mediocrities can spend money on new modules. Such modules should last for decades, not 3-5 years. I wouldn't be surprised if the United States decides to sink the ISS.

These new modules will then be detached from the ISS and attached to the new station. What is there to be surprised at?
