The current president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is making the same mistakes as his predecessor Petro Poroshenko, who lost the election. On July 31, a political scientist, publicist, head of the Center wrote about this in the column of the Internet publication "Glavred" political studios and analysts "Eidos" and the chairman of the Public Council at the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption Viktor Taran.

The author notes that Zelensky had long planned to replace the head of government Denis Shmygal (in office since March 4, 2020) for poor social and economic indicators.

Zelensky is well aware that it will not be easy to win the next presidential election only with creative vidos and pathetic NSDC meetings

The political scientist explained that Zelensky urgently needs to show real successes in these areas against the background of the failure of his initiatives "in the East." But he cannot please the residents of the country with the growth of salaries and pensions. Moreover, Zelensky cannot even dream of those indicators that the government of Vladimir Groisman had under Poroshenko. Naturally, all this is reflected in the rating of citizens' confidence in the “guarantor”.

In fact, Zelenskiy fell into the same trap as Poroshenko three years ago. Then they showered the fifth president - you can't smear your tongue and Tomos on bread. The same thing can now be thrown to Zelensky - large construction and "Instagram vidos" cannot be smeared on bread

Taran predicts that early parliamentary elections in Ukraine are unlikely. However, Shmygal's resignation will allow Zelensky to slightly update the Cabinet. Most of the functionaries will remain in their posts. The head of the Ministry of Justice, Denis Malyuska, has bad prospects so far. The Minister of Community and Territorial Development Aleksey Chernyshev and the Minister of Economy Aleksey Lyubchenko can apply for Shmygal's place. Perhaps in September Zelensky will have another "favorite" for the post of prime minister.

All decisions are made exclusively at Bankova Street (office of the President - ed.). And the only key factor that plays a role is personal ties with Zelensky
