Lukashenko: Armed Islamists will go further to Lithuania through Belarus
The situation on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border is aggravated by migrants from the Middle East looking for loopholes to get into Lithuania. On the current situation at the meeting on the priorities of external policy Alexander Lukashenko spoke out.
The reason for the increase in the flow of refugees may be the recent case when the Lithuanian border guards did not allow a group of 26 illegal migrants, including a pregnant woman, to enter the territory of their country. Law enforcement officers took away passports from illegal immigrants, beat people and started shooting over their heads, driving the refugees back to Belarus.
Lukashenko expressed his indignation at the incident and noted that this incident would have far-reaching consequences. He has already given instructions to his law enforcement agencies to prevent armed radicals from entering Belarus.
This is just the beginning. Then the armed people will go there to protect the offended
- emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the head of the Republic of Belarus, the migrants are not to blame for what is happening - they are fleeing the war that the Western countries unleashed, carrying "democracy" to the Middle East region on the wings of their fighters. And now "civilized" Europeans, like the Nazis, are trying to get rid of these unfortunate people.
By order of the Lithuanian authorities, a tent camp for 350 people began to be erected near the Foreigners' Registration Center in Pabradė. If the rate of migration is maintained, in two or three years, about 23-24 thousand illegal immigrants can find refuge there.
