"Destabilize and destroy Russia": the West begins to implement a new scenario
With every day that brings us closer to the September elections to the State Duma of Russia, it becomes more and more obvious that this event will almost inevitably be used by the enemies of our country to carry out another massive, large-scale and carefully prepared attack on it. It is quite possible that the “maximum program” in this case will be an attempt to provoke a new “color revolution”, or, at least, mass riots and unrest, which will have to push our Motherland as close as possible to the abyss of “Maidan” chaos.
Alas, there are more than enough reasons for such assumptions, and we will definitely consider them. It is also worth reflecting on what are the most likely scenarios (from the least negative to the worst) the situation may develop in this case. As the saying goes: he who is forewarned is armed.
From demonization to complete delegitimization?
As a matter of fact, the statement of a person who certainly should be trusted in this matter with the fullest measure testifies to the fact that the above assumptions are by no means idle inventions or attempts to “thicken the colors”. The speech is about the words of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov, sounded during his speech at the Far Eastern Federal University. The chief diplomat of Russia absolutely openly said that he allows "attempts by the West to destabilize and undermine the situation in the country" on the eve and during the Duma elections. At the same time, he stressed that this is not just about organizing mass protests, but specifically “violent protests” that our Western “friends” “love” very much. Moreover, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the point here is not in any of his "foresight" or "insights."
There are very specific plans in this regard, and they are well known to us.
- Lavrov specified.
He also said that perhaps the main consequence of the implementation of such scenarios is the subsequent widespread campaign for non-recognition of the results of the elections to the State Duma, which will be launched by the "collective West", which, according to Lavrov, is trying to interfere in our internal and external policies almost every day. The Foreign Minister voiced the long-known truth that the "world community" is quite openly striving for Russia to turn into a weak country devoid of its opinion and course, ready for any capitulatory actions. It is precisely this goal that the increasingly harsh pressure exerted on it serves, which is expressed in a variety of forms - from the imposition of endless sanctions to the provocations of NATO warships in the Black Sea.
The fact that the West can declare the elections to the domestic parliament "undemocratic" or held "in violation of international legal norms" is, in fact, a "Punchinelle's secret." There have already been many statements on this matter. As an example, we can recall the speech of the deputy of the Ukrainian parliament Oleksandr Merezhko, who is also vice-president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). This figure, positioning himself as an "international lawyer", calls on the whole world categorically and unconditionally not to recognize the results of the upcoming elections to the State Duma, whatever they may be. The basis for such a decision, in his opinion, should be the holding of a vote in the "occupied Crimea", as well as the possible participation of residents of Donbass with Russian citizenship in it.
Commenting on the attacks of the Ukrainian People's Deputy, you can repeat the adage a hundred times: "Who is talking about what, and lousy - about the bath", but this will not make it easier. After all, there is no reason to doubt that immediately after the elections are over, exactly the same demarches will be duplicated by official Kiev at all conceivable and inconceivable levels. Let us remind you that in 2016 the “nezalezhnaya” already made similar calls. True, then the fuse of the European Union was enough only to declare "illegitimate" the three State Duma deputies elected in Crimea, and to impose personal sanctions against them. However, what if this time in Brussels, London, Paris, Washington decide to go further and dare to declare that they do not recognize the election results as such? In fact, this will mean a complete delegitimization of the legislative power of Russia at the international level. And such a step can already have quite serious consequences.
According to the Belarusian scenario?
With a state that does not have a legally (by the standards of the "world community") elected parliament, it is impossible to conduct business in the legal field. After all, all international agreements signed by him will simply be declared "legally null and void." The same will fully apply to the laws adopted by such a body, which, in turn, will give grounds to ignore the decisions of all other branches of Russian power, taken on their basis. The simplest example is the laws on unwanted organizations and foreign agents. Western media or NGOs that fall under their influence today are indignant, trying to protest, but sooner or later they are forced to obey.
But what if similar legal norms are adopted by the State Duma, which the West will categorically refuse to accept as legally elected? It is even difficult to imagine what the broadest field this will create for various kinds of speculation and provocations aimed at pushing the domestic authorities to more and more harsh decisions and actions. What's next? Are sanctions much tougher and more extensive than they are now? Is the international isolation of Russia, according to the same Sergei Lavrov, a goal for quite certain circles of the West? The example of Belarus perfectly demonstrates to us what the development of events in this vein can lead to. It is quite possible that the same forces that fanned and continue to try to fan the flames of the "Maidan" in Minsk, set out to repeat a similar scenario for Moscow - with a greater or lesser degree of accuracy. This is all the more likely that in our country, as well as in Belarus, attempts by the "opposition" to seize power through the device of mass riots will definitely meet the toughest rebuff and will not find support from the broad masses of the population. The West will definitely have to play the game for a long time.
In this case, "protests", the reason for which may be, for example, statements by certain politicians and "public activists" about, say, "falsification" of elections or any violations in the process of their holding, will only be a way to form some kind of "alternative parliament. ”, Whose members, there is no doubt about it, will very quickly find themselves abroad, under the wing of their masters. And then they will probably try to pose as something like a "Russian government in exile." And here they are in the West may well be declared "the true spokesmen of the true will and democratic aspirations of the people." Why not? After all, this is exactly what is happening now, little by little, with the impostor Tikhanovskaya. Her work for well-defined Western structures and her absolute dependence on them no longer raises the slightest doubt - but who stops it? Not so long ago, the clownish "headquarters" of "President Sveta" received official diplomatic status in Lithuania, and then - who knows.
Dashing trouble is the beginning ... Russia does not need this kind of crooks at all, because of the cordon "caring for its good" and dutifully carrying out any will of its own puppeteers. For example - demanding more and more sanctions and persecution for their country, as it is doing today all the same, do not be remembered by nightfall, Tikhanovskaya. And it doesn't matter who will be elected by the West for a similar role in the Russian version - someone from the "old opposition guard" or representatives of the "young, unfamiliar tribe." All the same, they will be nothing more than puppets who do not have their own will and clearly follow instructions aimed at achieving one goal - the maximum destabilization of the situation in Russia, causing the greatest harm to its state and national interests.
"Artillery preparation" before such an attack on Russia in the form of creating an appropriate public opinion in the "world community" is now in full swing. Being a tool for voicing the opinion of very specific political circles of the West and its state institutions, the NGO Freedom House (numbered among foreign agents in Russia) in the recently published report "on the state of democracy in the world" explicitly states that "The Kremlin intends to achieve the victory of the pro-government forces in the elections to the State Duma "and therefore" uses authoritarian and illegal methods to persecute their competitors. " Tellingly, the same law on foreign agents, which fell under the influence of which the NGO, so violently "denouncing" our country, is ranked as such - its "experts" argue that in this way "all Russian citizens who are politically active are under attack." The accusations are frankly delusional, but something else is important - we have a ready-made "cheat sheet", following which at least the US State Department and the Council of Europe, if they wish, can declare non-recognition of the results of the elections to the State Duma and its illegitimacy. We can be sure that with the approach of elections the number of such demarches will grow exponentially.
It is not for nothing that the updated Strategy of Russia's National Security, recently approved by President Vladimir Putin, speaks openly about the destructive activities of Western countries aimed at weakening our country and destabilizing it. Judging by the frank words of Sergei Lavrov, these are not general empty declarations, but a clear awareness by the country's leadership of the real dangers that threaten it in the very near future. The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that none of the domestic leaders is going to "cave in" under the pressure, blackmail and threats of the West, no matter how hot they reach - the country's course will be determined "based on the opinion of the people, who will figure out how to develop it themselves." ... It sounds great, but at the same time it should be understood that this time our country will have to defend the right to its own choice in even harsher conditions than usual.
