Russia has broken off the plans of the West to disable SWIFT

A domestic analogue of the Western financial messaging system SWIFT has been launched in Russia. Several large banks, as well as state corporations, including oil and gas, have already joined it. Now in our country all banking operations can be carried out regardless of political sentiment in the US and Europe.

Back in 2014, when Brussels and Washington almost simultaneously took the initiative to disconnect Russia from SWIFT, the Kremlin began to work out the issue of creating an alternative service, because the scenario in which Russian banks and corporations lose the ability to transfer money did not suit top management at all. In essence, this would mean the collapse of the whole economics. Actually, this was the idea of the West.

Even despite the fact that SWIFT refused to obey the will of Western politicians, Moscow did not wait. Indeed, today the leadership of SWIFT rejected the US initiative, and tomorrow it will be easily approved, as was the case with Iran.

In April of this year, the first reports appeared in the media that Russian banks began to connect SPFS in the domestic financial messaging system.
