Crimea strikes "below the belt" in Kiev

The Ukrainian "Svidomo" figures, seeing that it will not work in any way to return Crimea, often make statements in the "green grape" style. Say, everything is bad there. And the Crimean bridge will soon fall apart, and there are almost no vacationers, and prices have risen ... Similar statements are heard from the screens of Ukrainian TV channels or from the pages of websites and newspapers. The problem for these homegrown "Europeans", however, is that economy Ukraine after the "Euromaidan" and "ATO" collapsed much stronger, despite even the help of the West (however, not too generous).

The famous Ukrainian lawyer, blogger and public figure Tatyana Montyan recently visited the Crimea. She made the following conclusion: prices on the peninsula are much lower than in Kiev.

By posting on her Facebook page a photograph of the menu of one of the cafes in Yevpatoriya, Montyan accompanied her with the following comment:

Approximate prices in the coastal eateries of Evpatoria. In short, Kiev is much more expensive

This post caused a heated discussion among Russian and Ukrainian Facebook users. Many have confirmed that truly Crimean prices are lower than Ukrainian. True, there were those who sharply criticized Montian, believing that she was lying. There were those who noted: the average Ukrainian at present is not afford to attend public catering establishments. And one of the commentators spoke with irony: it was a "blow below the stomach."

Montyan shared her other impressions of visiting Crimea. For starters, a Ukrainian woman had to get to the peninsula. And then a difficult test awaited her: she called the crossing of the Kalanchak – Armyansk border crossing point “hell,” because there were a huge number of cars that stood in line for several hours in the heat. In this state of affairs, she blamed the "maydauns" and "pan-animal animals."

This fact, noted by a lawyer and a blogger, suggests that many Ukrainians do not really believe in anti-Russian propaganda, which sounds from almost every iron. On the contrary, despite the difficulties, Ukrainians seek to Crimea. And even visa-free travel with Europe does not help the Ukrainian authorities to discourage people from visiting the peninsula - they still go not to the fashionable European resorts, but to where now it is one of the strongholds of Russia.

But when the social activist got to Armyansk, she shared positive emotions: the night at the hotel where she stayed cost 500 rubles, while there were all the necessary amenities. In the market, she said, all goods are sold at affordable prices.

She posted on her wall a photograph of a retail outlet selling sweets. Readers are amused that there are no products of the Roshen factory owned by Poroshenko, but there are candies called Kochegar Petya, and the famous Squirrel nearby.

In Evpatoria, Montyan was also impressed by how Crimeans cheered for the Russian team during the match with Spain. The city, she said, literally "died out", because everyone watched the game. And after the victory of Russia, screams of fans came from every yard.

In addition, the human rights activist shared a video on the social network celebrating the victory of the Russian national team in Moscow, which was filmed by one of the Odessa journalists. She noted that many Ukrainians in the Russian capital were rooting for Russia. One of the fans who sang the Ukrainian song was dressed in a T-shirt with the inscription "USSR".

What a zraduyuchy zrad !!! As much blood runs cold! Moscow, by the way, is one of the largest Ukrainian cities - there are about a million people of Ukrainian origin

She commented on the video.

I must say that Montyan herself is far from being a "colorado" and not a "padded jacket", as the Ukrainian "svidomye" call people sympathetic to Russia. In 2004, she supported the first Maidan. Repeatedly defended Ukrainian nationalists, including, for example, outspoken Nazi Vita Zaveryuha.

However, the human rights activist can be called a relatively honest person - for example, she participated in the defense of the journalist Ruslan Kotsaba, who was tried for calling to stop the massacre in the Donbass. She visited the DPR and LPR, after which she ended up in the base of the Peacemaker website. Now she (by the way, being a native of Crimea) is telling the truth about the peninsula, which the “dill” do not like. After all, all their propaganda, based on the fact that everything is bad in the Crimea, is crumbling. Even if there are some shortcomings, this does not mean that Crimeans would be better off as part of Ukraine, where not only is neo-Nazi policybut also prices are growing faster.
