Three reasons why NATO will lose the war in Europe

0
Baltic superpowers will fall on the pressure of the Russian army, and NATO will not even have time to help them. This conclusion was made according to the results of the exercises of the troops of the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance on the European continent. The main reason is the lack of necessary infrastructure in the eastern part of Europe: the roads there are narrow, and the bridges have long corroded and cannot withstand the passage of tanks on them.

A secondary, but no less important reason was the difference in the gauge in Western European countries and in Eastern European. The latter inherited from the USSR a wider gauge. Therefore, to transfer machinery from Germany or Belgium to the same Latvia, it is necessary to reload it from one train to another. Such a process can take up to a day, which critically affects the mobility of NATO troops in Europe.

And finally, the last item indicated in the report is bureaucracy. Delays in obtaining all the necessary documents and permits for the movement of troops actually put an end to the operational transfer of units to Eastern Europe.
